Tertuis Simmers
Tertuis Alfred Simmers (born 23 March 1983) is a South African politician who has been serving as the Western Cape Provincial Minister of Infrastructure since April 2022. He previously served as the Western Cape Provincial Minister of Human Settlements from May 2019 to April 2022. He has been a Member of the Western Cape Provincial Parliament since 2017. Simmers is a member of the Democratic Alliance. On 21 August 2021, he was elected as the DA's interim deputy leader in the Western Cape. Following Albert Fritz's resignation from the DA over sexual assault allegations, he was elected interim provincial leader of the DA in May 2022. Family and personal life Simmers was born in Nelspruit on 23 March 1983. He is married to Monique Simmers. They have four children together. He qualified as a Skills Development Facilitator in 2015.

Western Cape Provincial Parliament
The Western Cape Provincial Parliament (WCPP) is the legislature of the Western Cape province of South Africa. It is located at 7 Wale Street in Cape Town. The Provincial Parliament, along with the other provincial legislatures of South Africa, exists by virtue of Chapter 6 of the Constitution of South Africa and Chapter 3 of the Constitution of the Western Cape. It is unicameral, and consists of 42 members elected by a system of party-list proportional representation. The Western Cape is unique amongst the provinces of South Africa in calling its legislature the "Provincial Parliament" and the members Members of Provincial Parliament (MPPs). The other provinces use the terms "Provincial Legislature" and "Members of the Provincial Legislature". Jaco Londt
Johan Jaco Londt (born 27 November 1984) is a South African politician who has been the Western Cape's Provincial Minister of Social Development and a Member of the Western Cape Provincial Parliament since June 2024. Prior to serving in the provincial parliament, he was a Permanent Delegate to the National Council of Provinces between May 2014 and September 2018 and again from May 2019 until May 2024. Between September 2018 and May 2019, he served as a member of the National Assembly. Nelspruit
Mbombela (also known as Nelspruit) is a city in northeastern South Africa. It is the capital of the Mpumalanga province. Located on the Crocodile River, Mbombela lies about by road west of the Mozambique border, east of Johannesburg and north of the Eswatini border.
