Terry Yegbe
Terry Yegbe (born 25 January 2001) is a Ghanaian professional football defender for Swedish Allsvenskan club IF Elfsborg. Early career Born in Akatsi, Yegbe started to play football in a youth team of local Division Two side Kickers FC. He was scouted by a Sogakope-based Ghana Premier League club West African Football Academy (WAFA), and was offered a contract to their academy in August 2018. Yegbe made his senior debut with the club's first team in Ghana Premier League in 2019. After his contract expired with WAFA, Yegbe moved to Accra to the Division One club Vision FC, where he spent two years, before moving to Finland. Club career SJK Seinäjoki In March 2022, Yegbe was first loaned out to Seinäjoen Jalkapallokerho (SJK) in Finland with a purchase option, and was initially registered to their academy squad SJK II, playing in the Finnish second tier, Ykkönen. Akatsi is a small town and is the capital of Akatsi South District, a district in the Volta Region of Ghana. The 2024 Allsvenskan will be the 100th season since its establishment in 1924 of Sweden's top-level football league, Allsvenskan. A total of 16 teams will participate. Vaasan Palloseura (or VPS) is a Finnish football club, based in Vaasa. It currently plays in the first tier of Finnish football (''Veikkausliiga''). The club's current manager is Jussi Nuorela. Ostrobothnia (region)
Ostrobothnia ( sv, Österbotten; fi, Pohjanmaa) is a region in western Finland. It borders the regions of Central Ostrobothnia, South Ostrobothnia, and Satakunta. It is one of four regions considered modern-day Ostrobothnia, hence also referred to as Coastal Ostrobothnia to avoid confusion. Ostrobothnia is one of two Finnish regions with a Swedish-speaking majority (the other being the constitutionally monolingual province of Åland); Swedish-speakers make up 51.2% of the total population. Veikkausliiga (; sv, Tipsligan) is the premier division of Finnish football, the highest tier of the Finnish football league structure, comprising the top 12 clubs of the country. Its main sponsor is the Finnish national betting agency Veikkaus, hence the league's name. Veikkausliiga was founded in 1990; before that the top division was called '' Mestaruussarja'' (championship series) since 1930 which was an amateur or semi-professional league. Between 1908 and 1930 the championship was decided as a knock-out cup competition.
