Terry Wayne Adams (born March 6, 1973), is an American former professional baseball pitcher, who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) from to for the Chicago Cubs, Los Angeles Dodgers, Philadelphia Phillies, Toronto Blue Jays, and Boston Red Sox. Amateur career High school At Mary G. Montgomery High School, he went 12–2 with a 1.75 ERA his senior season and was the 1991 Alabama High School Player of the Year. Professional career Draft and Minor Leagues He was selected by the Chicago Cubs in the 4th round of the baseball draft and began his professional career by recording a 0–9 record in 13 starts with the Huntington Cubs in the rookie league. He rose through the Cubs farm system with stops in Peoria, Daytona, Orlando and Iowa. Terry Adams (born August 9, 1983) is a professional flatland BMX bicyclist from Hammond, Louisiana. In 2024 author and filmmaker Billy Henrickle announced he had started working on Terry Adams memoirs and a documentary on Terry’s life and BMX career. Riding career Adams started riding flatland BMX at the age of ten and turned pro at seventeen. He's been featured on the covers of several magazines throughout his career. In 2005 and 2008 he won ''Ride BMX'' magazine's NORA Cup award. In 2009 he appeared on ''The Ellen DeGeneres Show'' as well as an episode of ''Glee'' in 2011. Terry Adams (musician)
Terry Adams (born August 14, 1948) is an American musician and composer. He is a founding member of the band NRBQ (New Rhythm and Blues Quintet/Quartet), which was formed in 1965. Adams was born in Louisville, Kentucky, where he met fellow resident Steve Ferguson, a singer and guitarist who also became a charter member of NRBQ. His younger brother, Donn Adams, has served the band in various support roles, including originally coining the NRBQ name, playing the trombone (as part of the "Whole Wheat Horn" section), and writing liner notes. The ''Los Angeles Times'' once attempted to sum up his musical approach: "If Adams has often been likened to a cross between Jerry Lee Lewis and Thelonious Monk, it is only because the image is so apt. Clerkenwell ( ) is an area of central London, England.
