Terror Squad was an American hip hop collective that was first established in 1998. Based in the Bronx in New York City, the members of Terror Squad collectively debuted on a song in member Fat Joe's albums '' Jealous One's Envy'' and '' Don Cartagena''. Terror Squad released its debut album, '' Terror Squad: The Album'', in 1999, with its first major hit "Whatcha Gon' Do", credited mostly to Big Pun, who died of a heart attack in 2000. After Big Pun's death, his longtime partners Cuban Link and Triple Seis left the group and were subsequently replaced by Remy Martin (later known as Remy Ma) and Tony Sunshine. ''Terror Squad'' is a 1987 action film directed by Peter Maris. The film stars Chuck Connors. Plot In 1987 in Libya, a crowd is rallying at an anti-American speech. The crowd excitedly waves rifles and banners, while burning an American effigy. The movie then cuts to Kokomo, Indiana, showing a regular day at the old Kokomo High School (now Central Middle School). Several students are stuck in detention after school. Four terrorists cross the Canada–US border, and they attempt to attack the Blackriver Nuclear Power Plant (a fictitious power plant in Howard County, Indiana) with a car bomb. After this fails, the remaining three escape, pursued by several police cruisers. Chief Rawlings ( Chuck Connors), the Kokomo Police Department chief, is radioed, and he and the other officers join the chase. Terror Squad Productions (later Terror Squad Entertainment) is an American hip hop and rap record company founded by Fat Joe in 1997. The label has been distributed by Atlantic, Virgin Records, and Columbia Records. The label's flagship artist was Big Pun. History 1997—1999: Early years, Big Pun, Terror Squad After being disappointed with the previous album sales at Relativity Records, Fat Joe left Relativity and signed to Atlantic Records. After signing to Atlantic, Fat Joe was granted his own record label, Terror Squad Productions. Atlantic would allow Fat Joe to sign artists to Terror Squad. Under the terms of the deal, Fat Joe was responsible for putting their albums together and they would fund, promote and distribute the releases from the label. Biography Before Joshua Mellody was active under the name Zomboy, he had an electronicore project called Place Your Bet$, under which a self-titled demo album was released in 2010. Zomboy debuted in 2011 with the EP ''Game Time'', which was released through his independent record label, Never Say Die Records. His debut EP was in top 5 of the Beatport dubstep charts for over eight weeks. At the end of the year, his music and remixes were licensed to compilations on labels like Warner and Ministry of Sound.
