Terrell Myers
Terrell Myers (born August 28, 1974) is an American former professional basketball player who also later became a naturalised citizen of the United Kingdom. Playing career High school and college Terrell attended Hillhouse High School, then attended St. Thomas More School (Connecticut), St. Thomas More School in Oakdale, Connecticut for a postgraduate year. In college, Myers played for Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he studied and played basketball from 1993 to 1997. Professional After graduating, Myers moved to England, signing professionally for the British Basketball League team Sheffield Sharks. He played with them for four seasons and the BBL Trophy in 1998, the League Championship in 1999 and the BBL Cup in 2000. Point Guard
The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the Basketball positions, five positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position and is usually the shortest player on the court. Point guards are expected to control the pace of the game. They effectively "run" the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. Generally, point guards are expected to be proficient in passing the ball and being able to get Assist (basketball), assists to teammates. In a pick and roll offense, the point guard typically moves off of screens to facilitate the ball to a Power forward, big. Likewise, point guards can also shoot off of screens if given separation. BBL Trophy
The British Basketball League Trophy, often shortened to the BBL Trophy, is an annual cup competition for the British Basketball League (BBL). It is the unique of peripheral competitions operated by the League during the regular season, The competition's structure and format vary from season to season and, unlike the BBL Cup, often includes invited clubs from the English Basketball League and the Scottish Basketball League, and representatives from Basketball Wales, a novelty in BBL events which gives the competition much of its character.
