Terrell May (born 29 April 1999) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer who plays as a for the Sydney Roosters in the National Rugby League (NRL). Background May was born in Blacktown and played his junior rugby league for the Minchinbury Jets in the Penrith District Rugby League. May's brothers Tyrone and Taylan are also professional rugby league players. He is of Samoan and European descent. Blacktown, New South Wales
Blacktown is a suburb in the City of Blacktown, in Greater Western Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Blacktown is located west of the Sydney central business district. It is one of the most multicultural places within Greater Sydney. History Prior to the arrival of the First Fleet in 1788, the area of today's Blacktown was inhabited by different groups of the Darug people including the Warmuli, based around what is now Prospect, and their neighbours the Gomerigal from the South Creek area and the Wawarawarry from the Eastern Creek area. May Family (rugby League)
The May family (also spelled Maj) was a prominent Danish family that belonged to the clergy and thus the legally privileged elite in Denmark-Norway. It was descended from the priest Søren Nielsen May (died 1679), a native of then-Danish Helsingborg in Scania, and Catharina Motzfeldt, the daughter of the noble Copenhagen wine merchant Peter Motzfeldt. Catharina Motzfeldt's sister was the mother of Peder Griffenfeld, the de facto ruler of Denmark-Norway in the early 1670s, and the May family, along with Griffenfeld's other close relatives, thus rose to significant prominence with their nephew's rise to power. The South Sydney Rabbitohs are a professional Australian rugby league club based in Redfern, New South Wales, Redfern, a suburb of inner-southern Sydney, New South Wales. The North Sydney Bears is an Australian rugby league football club based in North Sydney, New South Wales. The club competes in the New South Wales Cup, having exited the National Rugby League following the 1999 NRL season after 90 years in the premier rugby league competition in Australia.
