Ternopil Urban Hromada
Ternopil urban hromada () is a hromada of Ukraine, in Ternopil Raion of Ternopil Oblast. Its Capital (political), administrative center is Ternopil. Population: History The amalgamated hromada was created 14 November 2018 by uniting 5 rural councils — Kobzarivka (villages Kobzarivka, Vertelka), Kurivtsi (village Kurivtsi), Malashivtsi (villages Malashivtsi, Ivankivtsi) and Chernykhiv (villages Chernykhiv, Hliadky, Pleskivtsi) of Zboriv Raion with Ternopil city council (city of regional significance). On 7 February 2020, by the decision of the session of the Ternopil City Council, another community of Zboriv Raion was added to the Ternopil Hromada — Horodyshche Rural Council (v. Horodyshche and Nosivtsi). Ternopil became first among all regional (oblast) administrative centers that created amalgamated hromada. Hromada
In Ukraine, a hromada () is the main type of municipality and the third level Administrative divisions of Ukraine, local self-government in Ukraine. The current hromadas were established by the Cabinet of ministers of Ukraine, Government of Ukraine on 12 June 2020. A municipality is designated ''urban hromada'' if its administration is located in a city; ''settlement hromada'' if it is located in a settlement (''selyshche''), and ''rural hromada'' if it is located in a village (Village#Ukraine, ''selo'') or a ''selyshche''. Hromadas are grouped to form Raions of Ukraine, raions (districts); groups of raions form Oblasts of Ukraine, oblasts (regions). Optionally, a municipality may be divided into Starosta okruh, starosta okruhs (similar to Civil parish, civil parishes in Great Britain or Frazione, frazioni in Italy), which are the lowest level of local government in Ukraine. Vertelka
Vertelka () is a village in Ternopil Raion in Ternopil Oblast (province) of western Ukraine. It belongs to Ternopil urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. The khutors of Dubyna, Zaboloto and Zahrebellia belong to the village. Located on the left bank of the Seret. History The first written mention is in 1546, later mentioned in 1724. Pleskivtsi () is a village in Ternopil Raion, Ternopil Oblast (province) of western Ukraine. It belongs to Ternopil urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. History The first written mention is in 1583. Ternopil Oblast Council by a decision of September 8, 2006 in Zboriv Raion restored the village of Pleskivtsi, previously united with the village of Chernykhiv. Kobzarivka
Kobzarivka () is a village in Ternopil Raion, Ternopil Oblast (province) of western Ukraine. It was formerly known as Zaruddia. Kobzarivka belongs to Ternopil urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. History The first written mention is in 1463. In 1963 the villages of Zaruddia and Obaryntsi were united under the name of Kobzarivka - in honor of Taras Shevchenko. There is a church of St. Apostle John the Theologian (1906, brick; reconstructed in 2003). The church has been preserved (1910, destroyed during the First World War; rebuilt in 1919). Near the village there is a botanical natural heritage site Kobzarivska Zozulyntseva area.
