Terminal Frost
"Terminal Frost" is an instrumental from Pink Floyd's 1987 album, ''A Momentary Lapse of Reason''. Recording The saxophones are played by Tom Scott and John Helliwell, the latter best known for his work with Supertramp. The track is bookended by " A New Machine (Part 1)" and "A New Machine (Part 2)" which creates a mini-suite on the album. The sequence of "A New Machine (Part 1) - Terminal Frost - A New Machine (Part 2)" were the only tracks from the album which were not performed at every show of the 1987-89 tours, frequently being dropped. David Gilmour has said that "Terminal Frost" is the oldest piece on the album, having been written many years before. "A New Machine", parts 1 and 2 are songs from Pink Floyd's 1987 album, ''A Momentary Lapse of Reason''. Donny Gerrard
Donald Bradford Gerrard (March 19, 1946 – February 3, 2022), known professionally as Donny Gerrard was a Canadian singer. He was a member of the band Skylark (Canadian band), Skylark in the early 1970s, and in later years performed and recorded as a baritone backup singer for such artists as Mavis Staples. Early life Gerrard was born in Vancouver, Canada, on March 19, 1946. He began singing as a child and his talents became noticed when he was in high school. Anthony Frederick Levin (born June 6, 1946) is an American musician and composer, specializing in electric bass, Chapman Stick and upright bass. He also sings and plays synthesizer. Levin is best known for his work with King Crimson (since 1981) and Peter Gabriel (since 1977). The Hammond organ is an electric organ invented by Laurens Hammond and John M. Hanert and first manufactured in 1935. Multiple models have been produced, most of which use sliding #Drawbars, drawbars to vary sounds. Kurzweil Music Systems is an American company that produces electronic musical instruments. It was founded in 1982 by Stevie Wonder (musician), Ray Kurzweil (innovator) and Bruce Cichowlas (software developer).
