Terlan (; ) is a ''comune'' (municipality) in South Tyrol in northern Italy. Geography The municipal area is situated within the Adige Valley, about northwest of the city of Bolzano. Terlan is famous for its Italian wine, wine and asparagus production. Ãœberetsch-Unterland
Ãœberetsch-Unterland ( ; ) is a district (; ) in the southern part of the Italy, Italian province of South Tyrol. It comprises the valley of the Adige river from Bolzano in the north to Salorno in the south. Overview The hilly Ãœberetsch region, i.e. the municipal areas of Eppan and Kaltern, forms the northwestern part of the district, while the larger South Tyrolean Unterland, Unterland stretches down the Adige to the border with the Trentino province. The district also comprises the municipalities of Andrian, South Tyrol, Andrian and Terlan north of Ãœberetsch. The House of Gorizia, also called the Meinhardiner, were a comital, princely and ducal dynasty in the Holy Roman Empire.
