Tere Liye (writer)
Darwis (born 21 May 1979), better known as his pen name Tere Liye is an Indonesia, Indonesian writer and former accountant. Making his writing debut in 2005 through the novel ''Hafalan Shalat Delisa, Hafalan Sholat Delisa'', he has published more than 40 books throughout his writing career. Early life and education Darwis was born in Lahat Regency, South Sumatra. He is the sixth of seven children, from the couple Pasai and Nursam. Both of his parents are Farmer, farmers. Darwis spent much of his childhood in his hometown. Darwin received his basic education at SD Negeri Kikim Timur 2, East Kikim District. Lahat Regency is a regency of South Sumatra province, Indonesia. It originally included much of the southwestern part of the province, but on 21 June 2001 the town of Pagar Alam was removed from the regency to become an independent city, and on 2 January 2007 the western districts (except Tanjung Sakti Pumi and Tanjung Sakti Pumu) were split off to form the new Empat Lawang Regency.
