Teranga
''Teranga'' is a genus of southeast Asian cellar spiders erected in 2018 for four species transferred from '' Pholcus'' after a molecular phylogenetic study of the Calapnita-Panjange clade of Pholcidae. They are medium-sized cellar spiders, averaging in length, with longer legs, the first pair reaching long. The abdomen is long and thin, with a slight upward bend near the end. The name is derived from the Malay "terang", meaning "bright", referring to their light color. Species it contains four species: *'' T. cibodas'' (Huber, 2011) – Indonesia (Java) *'' T. domingo'' (Huber, 2016) – Philippines *'' T. kerinci'' (Huber, 2011) (type) – Indonesia (Sumatra) *'' T. matutum'' (Huber, 2016) – Philippines See also * '' Pholcus'' * List of Pholcidae species This page lists all described genera and species of the spider family Pholcidae. , the World Spider Catalog accepts 1820 species in 94 genera: A ''Aetana'' '' Aetana'' Huber, 2005 * ''Aetana abadae'' Huber, 2015 ... Pribumia
''Pribumia'' is a genus of southeast Asian cellar spiders erected in 2018 for several species transferred from '' Pholcus'' after a molecular phylogenetic study of the Calapnita-Panjange clade of Pholcidae. Six species previously in the minang group of Pholcus were transferred, but '' P. tahai'' is now in ''Apokayana''. They have long, thin abdomens and six eyes, three on each of two eye stalks. The name is derived from the local term for Native Indonesians. Species it contains six species: *'' P. atrigularis'' ( Simon, 1901) – Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia *'' P. bohorok'' (Huber, 2011) – Indonesia (Sumatra) *'' P. diopsis'' (Simon, 1901) – Thailand *'' P. hurau'' (Huber, 2011) – Indonesia (Sumatra) *'' P. minang'' (Huber, 2011) – Indonesia (Sumatra) *'' P. singalang'' (Huber, 2011) (type) – Indonesia (Sumatra) See also * '' Pholcus'' * '' Uthina'' * ''Apokayana'' * List of Pholcidae species This page lists all described genera and species of the spider fam ... ''Tissahamia'' is a genus of southeast Asian Pholcidae, cellar spiders named after Vedda, Wanniyalaeto chief Uru Warige Tissahami. It was erected in 20180 for several species transferred from ''Pholcus'' after a Molecular phylogenetics, molecular phylogenetic study of the Calapnita-Panjange clade of Pholcidae. They have long, thin opisthosoma, abdomens that bend upward near the end. They also have six eyes, three on each of two eye stalks. Pholcidae Genera
The Pholcidae are a family of araneomorph spiders. The family contains over 1,800 individual species of pholcids, including those commonly known as cellar spider, daddy long-legs spider, carpenter spider, daddy long-legger, vibrating spider, gyrating spider, long daddy, and skull spider. The family, first described by Carl Ludwig Koch in 1850, is divided into 94 genera. The common name "daddy long-legs" is used for several species, especially '' Pholcus phalangioides'', but is also the common name for several other arthropod groups, including harvestmen and crane flies. Appearance Pholcids are thin and delicate arachnids. The body, resembling the shape of a peanut, is approximately 2–10 mm (0.08–0.39 inch) in length, and the legs may be up to 50 mm (1.97 inches) long. ''Pholcus'' and ''Smeringopus'' have cylindrical abdomens and eyes arranged in two lateral groups of three and two smaller median contiguous eyes. Arrangements of eight and six ... ''Nipisa'' is a genus of southeast Asian cellar spiders erected in 2018 after a molecular phylogenetic study of Pholcidae. It consists of ten '' Calapnita'' species, previously the phyllicola group of Pholcidae, now elevated to genus rank. They are pale whitish in color, with a cylindrical abdomen and relatively long legs. The name is derived from the Malay "nipis", meaning "thin", in reference to the long, thin abdomen. Species it contains ten species: *'' N. anai'' (Huber, 2017) – Thailand, Malaysia (mainland), Singapore, Indonesia (Sumatra, Java?) *'' N. bankirai'' (Huber, 2017) – Malaysia, Indonesia (Borneo) *'' N. bidayuh'' (Huber, 2017) – Malaysia (Borneo) *'' N. deelemanae'' (Huber, 2011) – Malaysia (Borneo) *'' N. kubah'' (Huber, 2017) – Malaysia (Borneo) *'' N. lehi'' (Huber, 2017) – Malaysia (Borneo) *'' N. phasmoides'' (Deeleman-Reinhold, 1986) – Indonesia (Java, Sumatra, Borneo) *'' N. phyllicola'' (Deeleman-Reinhold, 1986) (type) – Thailand, Malays ...
