Teqball
Teqball is a ball sport that is played on a curved table, combining elements of football and table tennis. Back and forth, the players hit a ball with any part of the body except arms and hands. Teqball can be played between two players as a singles game or between four players as a doubles game. The game is represented at an international level by the International Teqball Federation (FITEQ). A number of world-class footballers have been attracted by the game, and after being added to the programmes for the 2021 Asian Beach Games and the 2023 European Games, the sport is now aiming for Olympic inclusion. Teqball became the world's fastest-recognised sport in August 2018, when its highest governing body, FITEQ, was officially recognised by the Olympic Committee of Asia (OCA). Teqball World Championships
The Teqball World Championships, formerly the Teqball World Cup, is an international teqball tournament sanctioned by the International Teqball Federation (FITEQ). History The Teqball World Championships was first organized as the Teqball World Cup. The inaugural edition was held in Hungary in July 2017. This was followed by a tournament in Reims, France, the following year. In 2019, the tournament, now under its current name, returned to Hungary. In 2020, the World Championship was not held due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The annual competition would be held again from 2021. International Teqball Federation
The International Teqball Federation (FITEQ, French: Fédération Internationale de Teqball) is the governing body for the sport of teqball and para teqball. FITEQ is responsible for the organisation of teqball's major international tournaments, notably the Teqball World Championships. FITEQ was founded in March 2017 following the sport's inception in 2014. Headquartered in Budapest, its membership now compromises 124 national federations. Viktor Dénes Huszár (born 8 May 1985) is a Hungarian businessman, film producer, sports administrator and international speaker. He is one of three co-founders and co-inventors of teqball, the CEO of Teqball Holding, the Chairman of the International Federation of Teqball (FITEQ) and the President of the Football Club of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. 2023 European Games
The 3rd European Games (), also known as the 2023 European Games or Kraków-Małopolska 2023, was an international multi-sport event held from 21 June to 2 July 2023 in Kraków and Lesser Poland Voivodeship, Małopolska, Poland. 2021 Asian Beach Games
The Sixth Asian Beach Games () is due to be held in Sanya, China. Sanya will be the second Chinese city to host the Asian Beach Games, after Haiyang in 2012. Originally scheduled to be held from 28 November to 6 December 2020, on 10 August 2020, OCA announced that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Games would be postponed to 2-10 April 2021. But on 31 December, OCA announced another postponement, with the new dates of the Games to be announced later "by consultation between the stakeholders". On 18 May 2025, OCA announced that the Sixth Asian Beach Games will now take place from April 22 to 30, 2026. Global Association of International Sports Federations (GAISF) was the umbrella organisation for all (Olympic and non-Olympic) international sports federations as well as organisers of multi-sports games and sport-related international associations.
