APD-40 or APD 40 is a road composed of the U.S. Route 64 Bypass (US 64 Byp.) and a section of Tennessee State Route 60, State Route 60 (SR 60) which forms a partial beltway around the business district of Cleveland, Tennessee. The route takes its name from its part of Appalachian Development Highway System#Corridor K, Corridor K of the Appalachian Development Highway System and is sometimes called Appalachian Highway or simply the Cleveland Bypass. State Route 306 (SR 306) is a secondary state route in Bradley and Meigs counties in Tennessee. Route description SR 306 begins at an intersection with SR 60 in the unincorporated community of Hopewell a few miles northwest of Cleveland in Bradley County. The route continues north as Eureka Road through mostly farmland for several miles. Several miles later the route passes through the Chickamauga Lake Wildlife Management Area before coming to an intersection with the western terminus of SR 308 (Lower River Road). Paul Huff Parkway
The C.S.M. Paul B. Huff Medal of Honor Memorial Parkway, more commonly known as Paul Huff Parkway or simply Paul Huff, is a major east–west thoroughfare which runs through northern Cleveland, Tennessee. While not a numbered highway, it serves as a connector between U.S. Route 11 in Tennessee, U.S. Route 11 (US 11) and Tennessee State Route 60, State Route 60 (SR 60) as well as to Interstate 75 in Tennessee, Interstate 75 (I-75), and is one of the principal arterial roads in the city. The parkway is maintained by the city of Cleveland. Paul Huff Parkway was originally constructed between 1985 and 1988 to serve as a connector between I-75 and an industrial area in the northeastern part of Cleveland. Tennessee State Route 2
State Route 2 (SR 2) is a west–to–east state highway in the U.S. state of Tennessee. It begins in Murfreesboro, in Rutherford County, and ends near Farragut in Loudon County. The route is both a primary and secondary route. Most of the route is unsigned. It travels southeast from Rutherford County toward Chattanooga and then northeast from there to Loudon County. As nearly the entire route travels concurrent with U.S. Highways, the designation "Tennessee State Route 2" is seldomly used by the general public. The only exception would be a small portion of the route that runs parallel to Interstate 24 (I-24) near Kimball. In Tennessee, U.S. Route 64 (US 64) stretches from the Mississippi River (Arkansas state line) in Memphis to the North Carolina state line near Ducktown. The highway, along with US 72, is a major route for travel between Memphis and Chattanooga. History The route between Cleveland and the eastern end of the Ocoee Scenic Byway follows the route of the Old Copper Road, a wagon trail dating back to the 1830s used for transporting copper from the mines in the Copper Basin to Cleveland and Chattanooga. Cloverleaf Interchange
A cloverleaf interchange is a two-level interchange (road), interchange in which all turns are handled by slip roads. To go left (in right-hand traffic; reverse directions in left-driving regions), vehicles first continue as one road passes over or under the other, then exit right onto a one-way three-quarter loop ramp (270°) and merge onto the intersecting road. The objective of a cloverleaf is to allow two highways to cross without the need for any traffic to be stopped by traffic lights.
