Tennessee State Route 384
State Route 384 (SR 384) is a north-south state highway in Tipton County, Tennessee. Route description SR 384 begins in the southern part of the county at an intersection with SR 14 (Austin Peay Highway). It heads north as Mount Carmel Road along a two-lane highway through farmland for several miles before entering Covington at an intersection with SR 59 (Hastings Way). The highway turns east along a concurrency with SR 59 before splitting off and turning north along S Main Street. SR 384 passes through some neighborhoods before turning right onto East Street. It becomes a four-lane undivided highway for a short distance before narrowing to two-lanes and bypassing downtown along its east side. The highway has an intersection with SR 54 (E Liberty Avenue), where it becomes Hope Street, and begins passing through industrial areas, where it turns west onto Industrial Road N. State Route 14 (SR 14) is a south–north route from the Mississippi border in Memphis, Tennessee to an intersection with State Route 54 in Tipton County. Route description Shelby County SR 14 begins concurrent to US 61 at the Mississippi state line in Shelby County. US 61 and SR 14 travel northward passed several subdivisions before entering Memphis (as S Third Street) and having an intersection with SR 175. It then goes through some more neighborhoods before passing through a business district, crossing a railroad overpass and having an interchange with I-55 (Exit 7). US 61/SR 14 then pass through some more neighborhoods before coming to an intersection with E.H. Crump Boulevard ( US 64/ US 70/ US 79/ SR 1), at which point US 61 turns west along E.H. Tennessee State Route 59
State Route 59 (SR 59) is a state highway in Tennessee. It runs from the Mississippi River to just north of Somerville passing through Tipton and Fayette counties. Excluding the portion where it is concurrent with US 51 in Covington, which is 4-lane highway (both divided and undivided), it is a two-lane rural highway throughout its length and carries a speed limit except when it passes through towns, in which case this speed limit can be significantly less. Route description Tipton County SR 59 begins as a secondary highway at the Mississippi River in Tipton County in an area known as Richardson Landing. State Route 54 (SR 54) is a west–east rural highway in West Tennessee, which runs from Covington to just north of Paris. Route description Covington to Alamo SR 54 begins in downtown Covington in Tipton County at an intersection with US 51/ SR 3. It then goes to a junction with SR 384. Shortly afterwards, it has a junction with SR 179. SR 54 then exits Covington and continues to the east, passing through Glenn and having an intersection with SR 14, which is its northern terminus. SR 54 then continues east and crosses into Haywood County. It then enters Brownsville and intersects SR 19, just a short distance away from its junction with US 70. It continues into town and has a junction with SR 1 (Old US 70) and begins a short concurrency together, and comes to a junction in the center of town with SR 76 and SR 369 and turns north to become concurrent with them, separating from SR 1.
