Tengah Bus Interchange
Tengah Bus Interchange is a bus interchange located in Tengah, Singapore. Operated by Tower Transit, it opened on 21 July 2024 and is located along Tengah Boulevard & Tengah Park Avenue and beside the Parc Woods @ Tengah residential estate. It is an interim bus interchange and will be relocated to another site when the Jurong Region MRT line opens in 2027. History Tengah Bus Interchange commenced operations on 21 July 2024. Before September 2023, transport options were limited to a free shuttle bus, after which Feeder service 944 was extended and renumbered to Trunk service 992. Then on 26 November 2023, in tandem with the opening of Jurong Town Hall Bus Interchange, Trunk service 870 was introduced to connect Tengah with Jurong East. When Tengah Bus Interchange commenced operations, both services 870 & 992 were extended to serve the interchange. Tower Transit Singapore is a contracted bus operator operating in Singapore. It commenced operations on 29 May 2016 and it is a subsidiary of Kelsian Group. History In October 2014, the Land Transport Authority called for bus operators to bid for a contract to operate 26 routes out of Bulim Bus Depot in Jurong West based from Bukit Batok, Clementi and Jurong East bus interchanges as part of its new Bus Contracting Model. Transit Systems Group is an Australian-based public transport company, which also operates overseas through its subsidiary Tower Transit Group.
