Tenelle Christine Luafalemana (born July 21, 1988) is an Samoan Americans, American Samoan singer-songwriter from Carson, California. She represented American Samoa in the American Song Contest where she placed 6th in the Grand Final. Early life Tenelle grew up in Carson, California where she was originally a softball player. At the age of 12, she started taking singing lessons with vocal coach Tim Carter, best known for his work with artists such as Beyoncé and Willow Smith. After graduating from Gardena High School in 2006, Tenelle joined three of her uncles in a band called ''Chord Brown''. Career Tenelle started her solo career as a popular regional performer on the West Coast of the United States and in Oceania. She became internationally recognized after the release of her single "Flava" by Grammy Award, Grammy nominated artist Meghan Trainor in 2013. American Song Contest
The ''American Song Contest'' is an American music reality competition television series based on the Eurovision Song Contest. The sole season of the series was hosted by Snoop Dogg and Kelly Clarkson; it consisted of eight episodes airing between March 21 and May 9, 2022 on NBC. It saw acts representing all fifty U.S. states, five territories, as well as Washington, D.C. compete for the title of Best Original Song. Over the course of the season, 56 competing entries were divided into five qualifying rounds leading to two 11-participant semi-finals, and culminating with a 10-participant final round, which aired as the season finale. George Brooks Veikoso (born 10 May 1970), known professionally as Fiji, is a Fijian musician, vocalist, songwriter, music producer and occasional actor. He was born in Fiji and is from the province of Tailevu. He was raised in Fiji. Early life His first professional singing appearance earned him $5 from the audience.
