Tenderstories
Tenderstories is an English audiovisual and film production company based in London, specialising in the scouting and development of original stories. It controls Tenderstories Srl, an Italian company operating in the same sector. History The company was founded in London in 2019 on the initiative of Moreno Zani, founder of Tendercapital. The managing director of the parent company is Linda Garbarino, while Malcom Pagani serves as managing director of the Italian production company. Tenderstories also incorporated the contemporary art projects of TenderToArt, which started in 2011 and are still ongoing. In 2020, Tenderstories was among the production companies for Claudio Noce's film ''Padrenostro'', inspired by a news story and starring Barbara Ronchi and Pierfrancesco Favino. Dea Kulumbegashvili () is a Georgian film director and writer, of Ossetian origin. She is known for her 2020 film ''Beginning'', which won and was nominated for numerous awards. Early life and education Kulumbegashvili was born in Oriol, Russia (Oryol), and raised in a small town called Lagodekhi at the foot of the Caucasus Mountains in Georgia. Paolo Virzì (; born 4 March 1964) is an Italian film director, writer and producer. Early life and work Virzì was born in Livorno, Italy, in 1964, as the son of a Sicilian police officer in the Carabinieri and a former singer. After spending his early childhood in Turin in the north of Italy, Virzì's family moved back to Livorno where he grew up in the working class area of "Le Sorgenti".
