Swannell Ranges
The Swannell Ranges are a mountain range between the Finlay River, Finlay and Nation River (British Columbia), Nation Rivers and between the Hogem Ranges and the Finlay Ranges of northern British Columbia, Canada. Omineca Mountains
The Omineca Mountains, also known as "the Ominecas", are a group of remote mountain ranges in the Boreal Cordillera of north-central British Columbia, Canada. They are bounded by the Finlay River on the north, the Rocky Mountain Trench (here filled by Williston Lake, Lake Williston) on the east, the Nation River (British Columbia), Nation Lakes on the south, and the upper reaches of the Omineca River on the west. They form a section of the Continental Divide of the Americas, Continental Divide, that, in this region, separates water drainage between the Arctic and Pacific Oceans. The lower course of the Omineca River flows through the heart of the range. To the south of the Ominecas is the Nechako Plateau, to the west the Skeena Mountains and Hazelton Mountains, to the north the Spatsizi Plateau and the Stikine Ranges, while east across the Rocky Mountain Trench are the Muskwa Ranges. Mesilinka River is a river in the Canadian boreal forest. It is located in the province of British Columbia, approximately 3,500 km west of the national capital, Ottawa, and about 900 km north of the provincial capital, Victoria. The area around the Mesilinka River is heavily pine forested and is almost uninhabited, with less than two inhabitants per square kilometre. It is part of the boreal climate zones, with annual average temperatures approximately -2 °C. The warmest month is July, when the average temperature is 11°C, and the coldest is December at -14 °C.
