Thelumusa Samuel Owen (born 14 April 1991), better known by his stage name Tellaman is a South African singer, songwriter and record producer. Growing up in a musical background, he is most known for a number one charting single by DJ Speedsta titled "Mayo (song), Mayo" which features himself, Yung Swiss, Frank Casino & Shane Eagle. Early life and career Tellaman was born and raised in Durban, South Africa. He is a self-taught musician whose interest in music was sparked by his mother, who had him singing at home, at church and in a youth choir. At the age of fifteen he decided to pursue music as a career and began writing and recording his own music. Tellaman was signed and featured in Soul Candi Record's compilation album titled ''Sould Candi Sessions 15'', alongside MoFlava, Lulo Café, Cueber and Hareal Salko. ''Bad Hair'' is the debut studio album by South African hip hop artist Nasty C. It was released by Mabala Noise Entertainment on 23 September 2016. The album was made available for streaming and free digital download on Audiomack on the same day of its release, and was added to iTunes on 24 September 2016. It features guest appearances from Omari Hardwick, Riky Rick, Tshego, Tellaman, Erick Rush and Rowlene. Nasty C executive produced the album, along with contributions from "Ganja Beatz", "The Gobbla", "Alie Keyz" and "Gemini Major". The album was supported by one single —"Hell Naw". Steve Dang (born May 29, 1994) better known by his stage name Yung Swiss, is a Cameroonian-born South African hip hop recording artist, singer, songwriter and performer from Rosettenville, Johannesburg. Nsikayesizwe David Junior Ngcobo (born 11 February 1997), known professionally as Nasty C, is a South African rapper, songwriter, and record producer. After releasing three mixtapes, one being "Undisputed" and two EPs, Ngcobo released his debut album '' Bad Hair'' (2016), and '' Strings and Bling'' (2018) which was associated and supported by his first tour, ''The Ivyson Tour''. 26th South African Music Awards
The 26th Annual South African Music Awards were held on 3–7 August 2020. Unlike previous years shows, the ceremony was broadcast as a five-night event, with the first four episodes being 30 minutes long, while the fifth one was a 45-minute grand finale. It was held virtually due to the effects of COVID-19 lockdowns, and for the first time, the award show was to be broadcast live on Multichoice's Mzansi Magic Channel (the award show was originally broadcast on SABC 1, but due to the channel's financial problems it was cancelled, then it was picked up by Multichoice). This was the first year the show was broadcast live via My Muze by Vodacom. The award show was originally scheduled to take place on 2 June, in Sun City Arena, North West and was to air live.
