Telesport
Telesport was the first Romanian sports channel launched on 1 December 2003, by Silviu Prigoană, the man behind Taraf TV and Etno TV. On March 28 2008, Realitatea-Caţavencu Group bought the station and brought a new team to manage the channel, a team led by Vlad Enăchescu, former manager at TVR1. In 2010, Romtelecom Orange România is a broadband Internet service provider and mobile provider in Romania. It is Romania's largest GSM network operator which is majority owned by Orange S.A. that also uses some of the Telekom Romania infrastructure, the biggest ... attempted to buy the channel, but failed. In return, Romtelecom signed contracts with the majority of Telesport team, including Vlad Enăchescu, all of them founding Dolce Sport. Realitatea Media
Realitatea TV (, meaning "The Reality TV") is the former name of the Romanian news television channel Realitatea Plus. The channel began broadcasting in 2001 as a general-profile television and became the first Romanian news television in 2002. Its owners are Romanian politician Cozmin Guşă and businessman Maricel Păcuraru. After becoming insolvent in 2011 and bankruptcy in 2019, the channel lost its license on 31 October 2019. The channel began broadcasting on 1 November 2019, including advertising, on Realitatea Plus, a channel that was launched in 2015 on satellite for the public outside Romania. TVR1
TVR 1 (; spelled out as ''Televiziunea Română 1'', "Romanian Television 1") is the main channel of the Romanian public broadcaster TVR. The most important show of the channel is Jurnalul TVR, whose motto is ("The news journal as it should be"), but on 28 March 2009 was replaced by Telejurnal, which is its name till today. In 1985, Programul 1 renamed again to TVR becoming the sole television channel in Romania. In 1989, TVR1 broadcast live the events of the revolt which triggered the fall of the Communist regime, covering almost all the main events live, starting from the last speech of Nicolae Ceauşescu (on December 21, 1989) until the new power representatives arrived.
