Telepictures (also known as Telepictures Productions; formerly known as Telepictures Distribution and Telepictures Corporation) is an American television show and filmmaking company, currently operating as a subsidiary of Warner Bros. Entertainment. Telepictures was established in 1979 by David Salzman, Michael Jay Solomon, and Michael Garin as a Broadcast syndication, television syndication firm. Rankin/Bass Animated Entertainment (founded and formerly known as Videocraft International, Ltd. and Rankin/Bass Productions, Inc.) was an American production company located in New York City. It was known for its seasonal television specials, usually done in stop motion animation. Rankin/Bass's stop-motion productions are recognizable by their visual style of doll-like characters with spheroid body parts and ubiquitous powdery snow using an animation technique called Animagic. Frank Konigsberg
Frank Konigsberg (March 10, 1933 – November 12, 2016) was an American lawyer, television producer and agent. He became the second largest shareholder of ICM Partners, and he subsequently served as the president of Telepictures. He was nominated for an Emmy nine times. Early life Frank Konigsberg was born on March 10, 1933. He graduated from Yale University and Yale Law School. Career Konigsberg started his career as a lawyer for CBS. Joseph Albert Wapner (November 15, 1919 – February 26, 2017) was an American judge and television personality. He is best known as the first presiding judge of the reality court show ''The People's Court''. The show's first run in syndication, with Judge Wapner presiding as judge, continued from 1981 to 1993, for 12 seasons and 2,484 episodes. ''Love Connection'' is an American television dating game show. Contestants selected one of three potential dates from a series of videotaped profiles, with a studio audience voting on which of the three partners they found most suitable. Originally hosted by Chuck Woolery, the show debuted in syndication on September 19, 1983, and ended on July 1, 1994, after 2,120 shows. Reruns continued to air until September 8, 1995.
