Telekom S-League
The Solomon Islands S-League, commonly known as just the S-League (and formerly known as the Telekom S-League until 2025 for sponsorship reasons), is a semi professional league and the top division of the Solomon Islands Football Federation. It replaced the Solomon Islands National Club Championship, which lasted from 2000 until 2010. Format In the current format, all teams compete in a round robin, where the team that ends at the first place are crowned champions. Together with the second-placed team, they qualify for the OFC Champions League. The bottom team is then relegated to the Second Division, while the best performing team from that league is promoted to this league. Oceania Football Confederation
The Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) is one of the six continental confederations of international association football. The OFC has 13 members, 11 of which are full members and two which are associate members not affiliated with FIFA. It promotes the game in Oceania and allows the member nations to qualify for the FIFA World Cup. OFC is predominantly made up of island nations where association football is not the most popular sport, with low GDP and low population meaning very little money is generated by the OFC nations. Makira-Ulawa Province
Makira-Ulawa Province is one of the nine provinces of Solomon Islands. It is mainly made up of the island of the same name, located east of Guadalcanal. The largest city and capital is Kirakira, in the north of Makira. The province is best known for its football club Real Kakamora, which in recent years have become one of the largest clubs in the Oceania Football Confederation. Malaita Province is the most populous of the nine provinces of Solomon Islands. The population of the province is 122,620 (1999). The area of the province is . It is named after its largest island, Malaita (also known as "Big Malaita" or "Maramapaina").
