Tejay Johnson is a former American college football safety for the TCU Horned Frogs football team of Texas Christian University who earned consensus All-American honors. A native of Garland, Texas, Johnson attended South Garland High School. Regarded as a three-star recruit by ''Rivals.com'', Johnson was listed as the No. 34 safety prospect in the class of 2007. Johnson attended Texas Christian University, where he played for the TCU Horned Frogs football team from 2007 to 2010. Following his senior season in 2010, he was recognized as a consensus first-team All-American. In gridiron football, defensive backs (DBs), also called the secondary, are the players on the defensive side of the ball who play farthest back from the line of scrimmage. They are distinguished from the other two sets of defensive players, the defensive linemen who play directly on the line of scrimmage, and the linebackers, who play in the middle of the defense, between the defensive line and the defensive backs. A rivalry is the state of two people or groups engaging in a lasting competitive relationship. Rivalry is the "against each other" spirit between two competing sides. The relationship itself may also be called "a rivalry", and each participant or side a rival to the other. Someone's main rival may be called an archrival. Texas Christian University (TCU) is a private research university in Fort Worth, Texas. It was established in 1873 by brothers Addison and Randolph Clark as the Add-Ran Male & Female College.
