Myanglung
Myanglung ( ne, म्याङलुङ) is a municipality and the district headquarters of Terhathum District of Province No. 1 in eastern Nepal. The municipality is situated at an elevation of about 1500 metres above sea level. Taplejung District
Taplejung District ( ne, ताप्लेजुङ जिल्ला ) is one of 77 districts of Nepal and one of the 14 districts of Province No. 1. It is remotely located in the Himalayas in Eastern Nepal with Tibet to the north across the Himalayas. Taplejung is the third largest district (by area) of Nepal. District Coordination Committee
District administration makes up the third level of government division in Nepal. The provision for a District Assembly, which acts as the legislature at the district-level, is mentioned in Part 17 of the Constitution of Nepal. The Provincial Assembly ( ne, प्रदेश सभा; ''Pradesh Sabha'') is the unicameral legislative assembly for a federal province of Nepal. According to Article 176 of the Constitution of Nepal 2015, following the dissolution of the provincial assembly all the members forming the Provincial Assembly are elected. The term for the Provincial Assembly is five years, except when dissolved earlier. Candidates for each constituency are chosen by the political parties or stand as independents. Radio Terhathum () 92.4 MHz is an FM radio station dedicated to the service of peoples resided in community of Myanglung, Terhathum District of Kosi Zone in eastern Nepal. They play Nepali music, host community and arts programs, and read news stories for the purpose of "the upliftment of various marginalized communities...to raise public awareness through various media such as radio, television, newspapers, online, etc., to assist in collecting, distributing, publishing, publishing and disseminating news."
