Triethylene Glycol
Triethylene glycol, TEG, or triglycol is a colorless odorless viscous liquid with molecular formula HOCH2CH2OCH2CH2OCH2CH2OH. It is used as a plasticizer for vinyl polymers. It is also used in air sanitizer products, such as "Oust" or "Clean and Pure". When aerosolized it acts as a disinfectant. Glycols are also used as liquid desiccants for natural gas and in air conditioning systems. It is an additive for hydraulic fluids and brake fluids and is used as a base for " smoke machine" fluid in the entertainment industry. Properties Triethylene glycol is a member of a homologous series of polyethylene glycols. It is a colorless, odorless and stable liquid with high viscosity and a high boiling point. Apart from its use as a raw material in the manufacture and synthesis of other products, TEG is known for its hygroscopic quality and its ability to dehumidify fluids. This liquid is miscible with water, and at standard atmospheric pressure (101.325 kPa) has a boiling point of 286.5&n ...

Thromboelastography
Thromboelastography (TEG) is a method of testing the efficiency of blood coagulation. It is a test mainly used in surgery and anesthesiology, although increasingly used in resuscitations in emergency departments, intensive care units, and labor and delivery suites. More common tests of blood coagulation include prothrombin time (PT) and partial thromboplastin time (aPTT) which measure coagulation factor function, but TEG also can assess platelet function, clot strength, and fibrinolysis which these other tests cannot. Thromboelastometry (TEM), previously named rotational thromboelastography (ROTEG) or rotational thromboelastometry (ROTEM), is another version of TEG in which it is the sensor shaft, rather than the cup, that rotates. Mechanics A small sample of blood is taken from the selected person and rotated gently through 4º 45', six times a minute, to imitate sluggish vein, venous flow and activate coagulation. The clot forms around a thin wire probe used for measurement. Th ...

Twin Eagles Group
Twin Eagles Group (TEG) was a Peruvian demoscene/software piracy group founded in 1989. It originally produced hacked games for the Commodore 64, and would eventually modify games for video game consoles such as the Super NES and Nintendo 64. The group was commissioned to produce their ROM hacks. In part due to the threat of legal action, they would eventually become a legitimate video game developer using the skills they learned from piracy. Due to bankruptcy, TEG was dissolved in 2003. It has been credited with starting the Peruvian video games market. History Twin Eagles Group was founded by Lobsang Alvites, commonly known by the pseudonym Mr. Byte, and Overmind. Alvites founded TEG at 16 years old. He was inspired by piracy/demogroups he had seen in Europe and Asia, and planned to found a similar organization in Peru. When TEG was founded, it was based primarily in his house. TEG became famous as a cracking group, adding a cracktro at the beginning before distributing a game ...

Tenés Empanadas Graciela
''Tenés Empanadas Graciela'' (''TEG'') is a turn-based strategy game available in several popular Linux distributions. The idea for this free and open-source software program came from the board game ''TEG'', which itself is based on the strategy board game ''Risk''. Gameplay Using a server, several players can fight for world domination and chat with each other. Maps are used as battlefields. The game is available in languages including Spanish, German, French and Polish. History In 1996, Argentine software developer Ricardo "riq" Quesada started developing the game and released it under the GNU GPL-2-0-only. He stopped working on it for a few years but brought the project back to life in early 2000. Other developers, graphic artists, and translators subsequently joined the project. TEG was an early supporter of the FOSS multiplayer client-server system GGZ Gaming Zone. In around 2014, the project moved from SourceForge to GitHub. Reception ''Tenés Empanadas Graciela ...

Thermoelectric Generator
A thermoelectric generator (TEG), also called a Seebeck generator, is a solid state device that converts heat (driven by temperature differences) directly into electrical energy through a phenomenon called the '' Seebeck effect'' (a form of thermoelectric effect). Thermoelectric generators function like heat engines, but are less bulky and have no moving parts. However, TEGs are typically more expensive and less efficient. When the same principle is used in reverse to create a heat gradient from an electric current, it is called a thermoelectric (or Peltier) cooler. Thermoelectric generators could be used in power plants and factories to convert waste heat into additional electrical power and in automobiles as automotive thermoelectric generators (ATGs) to increase fuel efficiency. Radioisotope thermoelectric generators use radioisotopes to generate the required temperature difference to power space probes. Thermoelectric generators can also be used alongside solar panels. There was a triangular pond covering before it reached the south-eastern edge of Scratchface Copse.Ordnance Survey, 1:2500 map, 1911 This section has largely been built over by planned housing estates constructed from the 1960s onwards, and even the rectangular pond has been truncated at its southern end. The brook reappears to the north of Hawksworth Road,Ordnance Survey, 1:2500 map and forms an important wildlife corridor within the village. Teastas Eorpach Na Gaeilge
(TEG) or ''European Certificate in Irish'' is a set of examinations for adult learners of Irish. TEG is linked to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (Council of Europe, 2001). It examines four skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing. Examinations are currently available at five levels from Beginners 1 (A1) to Advanced 1 (C1) and are run internationally. In 2016 exams were held in Sydney, New York, Ottawa, and nationally in Ireland. There is the option for candidates at all levels to undertake the full examination () or just the oral examination (partial credit). TEG is the first certification system for adult learners of Irish connected with the ALTE (Association of Language Testers in Europe) examination system and the Council of Europe. Such a system had already been developed for most other European languages. This system helps learners to plan their studies and gain recognition for the progress they have made. Another advantage of the system i ...
