Teemu Vuorisalo (born 3 February 1995) is a Finnish ice hockey defenceman. He is currently playing with Karhu HT in the Finnish Suomi-sarja. Karhu HT
Porin Karhu Hockey Team, also known as Karhu HT (abbreviated KHT) was an ice hockey team in Pori, Finland. History Karhu HT's 2011–2012 season in the 2nd Division went well. KHT finished 1st in their division with 25 points and went to the Suomi-sarja qualification playoffs. Karhu HT didn't succeed in getting promoted to Suomi-sarja though. Karhu HT got promoted to Suomi-sarja after the 2014–15 season. In its first Suomi-sarja season, Karhu HT finished third in the regular season but got swept by JHT Kalajoki in the first round of the playoffs. Karhu HT's goalie, Niklas Lehti, had the second best save percentage in the league, of the players who played at least a third of the games. Karhu HT finished fifth in the 2020–21 regular season. Suomi-sarja
The Suomi-sarja is Finland's third highest ice hockey league. Suomi-sarja has 14 teams. Suomi-sarja has been played since the 1999–2000 season. Prior to this, Finland's third league had been Division II since 1975 and before that the Provincial Series since 1947. During the 1990s the series also included an Estonian team. The series was played in two segments in the 2006–2007 season. During the 2007–2008 season there were four divisions. Teams playing in the Suomi-sarja can be relegated to the 2. Divisioona or promoted to Mestis. During the 2022–23 season, there are 13 teams. Porin Ässät ry is a sports club based in Pori, Finland. The club's only programs are ice hockey and esports, but it used to have an association football program. Porin Ässät ry operates an ice hockey team in the Finnish Elite League. Porin Ässät ry also has junior teams for all age groups from U7 to U20. Porin Ässät ry also operate a women's ice hockey school and the girl's junior ice hockey department while also operating a skating school. Lillehammer Ishockeyklubb is an ice hockey club based in Lillehammer, Norway and playing in the EliteHockey Ligaen (EHL). Home games are played in Eidsiva Arena (Kristins Hall), and occasionally in Håkons Hall. History Founded on 2 November 1957, Lillehammer IK was a pioneer of ice hockey in the northern areas of eastern Norway. Playing under difficult conditions on natural ice for the first thirty years, success was limited to the odd foray into the second tier of the hockey league. The Liiga, colloquially called the Finnish Elite League in English or FM-ligan in Swedish, is the top professional ice hockey league in Finland. The league comprises 16 teams from all around Finland with relegation and promotion between the Mestis. The winner of the Liiga playoffs is awarded the Kanada-malja at the end of each season. Teams from the Liiga participate in the International Ice Hockey Federation, IIHF's annual Champions Hockey League (CHL), competing for the European Trophy.
