Ted Hanisch
Theodor "Ted" Hanisch (born 20 April 1947) is a Norwegian sociologist, civil servant and politician for the Labour Party. He was born in Tønsberg. He graduated with the mag.art. degree (PhD equivalent) in sociology, and was a director at the Norwegian Institute for Social Research from 1978. In 1986, when the second cabinet Brundtland assumed office, he resigned to become a State Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister. He lost this job in 1989, when the second cabinet Brundtland fell. Hanisch was then hired as director general of the newly established CICERO, Center for International Climate and Environmental Research in Oslo. In April 1993 he assumed a new position, as vice director of Aetat(Directororate of Labour). Bjartmar Gjerde
Bjartmar Alv Gjerde (6 November 1931 – 28 November 2009) was a Norway, Norwegian politician for the Norwegian Labour Party, Labour Party. He held several posts as a government minister between 1971 and 1980, and was Norway's first Minister of Petroleum and Energy (Norway), Minister of Petroleum and Energy. He was later the Director-General of the NRK, director-general of the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation and director of the government agency Aetat. Early life and career Hailing from Larsnes in Sande, Møre og Romsdal, he was a son of smallholding, smallholder Hjalmar Gjerde (1902–1979) and housewife Astrid Øvrelid (1907–1993). In his younger days he worked as a journalist, first in ''Sunnmøre Arbeideravis'' from 1948 to 1953 and then as editor-in-chief of ''Fritt Slag'' from 1953 to 1958. Jon Blaalid (born 1 May 1947) is a Norwegian civil servant. He was born in Oslo, and holds the cand.oecon. degree in economics. He worked for Statistics Norway from 1974 to 1979 and the Ministry of Trade from 1979 to 1987. From 1988 to 1990 he was deputy under-secretary of state in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and from 1990 to 1997 he was deputy under-secretary of state in the Ministry of Local Government. Aetat (short for no, Arbeidsmarkedsetaten) was a Norwegian government agency responsible for battling unemployment. History It had its roots in the Directorate of Labour ( no, Arbeidsdirektoratet), which was founded in 1945. Its purpose was to "prevent and remedy" unemployment in the Norwegian society. The name Aetat was taken into use in 2000, when the directorate was reorganized. Aetat had eighteen county offices, several local offices, and other branches, whereas the directorate remained the core of the agency.
