Techo Takhmao International Airport
Techo International Airport is an international airport currently under construction in Kandal Province of Cambodia. Located about south of Phnom Penh, the first phase is expected to be operational by 2025 and will replace the existing Phnom Penh International Airport as the city's main aviation hub. It is planned to span over in Kandal Province, and once completed, it will be the ninth largest airport in the world and designated as a 4F class airport. Etymology The name ''Techo'' () is a title given to army commanders by the King of Cambodia and ''Takhmao'' () refers to the guardian spirit (Neak ta, Neakta) of Krong Ta Khmau municipality, Takhmao which is the provincial city of Kandal province, the province in which the airport is located. Then Prime Minister Hun Sen announced the new name on 9 December 2021 while inspecting the new airport. Airbus A330
The Airbus A330 is a wide-body airliner developed and produced by Airbus. Airbus began developing larger A300 derivatives in the mid–1970s, giving rise to the A330 twinjet as well as the Airbus A340 quadjet, and launched both designs along with their first orders in June 1987. The Royal Cambodian Air Force ( ; ) is the branch of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces which is charged with operating all military aircraft in Cambodia. Hun Manet (, ; born 20 October 1977) is a Cambodian politician and general who has served as Prime Minister of Cambodia since 2023, succeeding his father, Hun Sen. He is also the vice president of the ruling Cambodian People's Party (CPP).
