Team Me
Team Me is an indie pop band from Norway. Their 2011 debut studio album '' To the Treetops!'' won the 2011 Norwegian Grammy Awards (Spellemannprisen) in the category Best Pop Group of the Year. Their second studio album ''Blind as Night'' was released in early 2015. They disbanded in late 2015 to work on other projects, but Hagen has continued working as Team Me until it was announced in February 2019 that the band had reformed, with two additional members. History Formation and early work (2010–2011) Team Me made their concert debut in Trondheim on 22 January 2010 after they found themselves picked to play at Urørtfinalen, an annual Norwegian competition for up-and-coming bands held by NRK Urørt, which is a part of the Norwegian Broadcasting channel P3. ''P3 Gull'' (in ) is a music show and an award ceremony organized by the Norway, Norwegian radio station NRK P3. P3 Gold was first held on 29 November 2013 at Sentrum Scene in Oslo, offering awards in four categories: "Newcomer of the Year" (''Årets nykommer''), "Live Artist of the Year" (''Årets liveartist''), "Song of the Year" (''Årets låt'') and "P3-Prize" (''P3-prisen''). The live shows will primarily be a meeting between the audience and the music being played on P3. Volumfestivalen
Volumfestivalen was a cultural festival held in Elverum Municipality in Hedmark county, Norway. It contained music, literature, art, performing arts and film. The festival was first held in 2003. The last festival was held in June 2018. It was cancelled due to years of decrease in ticket sales. The festival provided a venue for both the student, emerging and professional artists and cultural mediators linked to Hedmark. Past acts at Volumfestivalen include: The Wombats, Cezinando, Unge Ferrari, Kristian Kristensen, Team Me, Ludvig Moon, Frida Ånnevik and Ingrid Olava. The festival was run voluntarily by young people from around the Hedmark area. In 2010, Volumfestivalen received the Elverum Municipality Culture award. Rockefeller Music Hall
Rockefeller is a concert venue with audience entrance at Mariboes gate 5B, downtown Oslo, Norway. The building, known as "Torggata Bad" ("Market Street Bath"), used to house a public bathing facility. To this day the surrounding floors of the building consists of Tilt Oslo, Oslo Streetfood and Oslo Bar & Bowling. Rockefeller Oslo was established in 1986, and has a capacity of 1,300. Rockefeller is owned by Auditorium AS, of which also runs John Dee (pax 500), which is a smaller venue located in the lower floors of the same building complex. The Wombats
The Wombats are an English indie rock band formed in Liverpool in 2003, consisting of Matthew Murphy (lead vocals, guitar, keyboards), Tord Øverland Knudsen (bass, backing vocals, keyboards), and Dan Haggis (drums, backing vocals, keyboards). The Wombats released several EPs before working on their first full-length album ''Girls, Boys and Marsupials'' (2006), which was released only in Japan and featured some tracks that would reappear on their major-label debut studio album ''A Guide to Love, Loss & Desperation'' (2007). Iceland Airwaves
Iceland Airwaves is a music festival held annually in November in Reykjavík, Iceland, since 1999. Its main focus is showcasing new music, both Icelandic and international. Background The event is promoted and produced by Iceland Music Export and sponsored by its founder, Icelandair, in cooperation with the City of Reykjavík. In February 2018, the event managing company, Sena Live, bought the logo and all associated trademarks of Iceland Airwaves. History The first festival was held in October 1999 as a one-off event in an airplane hangar at Reykjavík Airport. In 2014, the event switched to being held in November. In 2018, 50% of the performers at Iceland Airwaves were female, making the festival one of the first to include gender equality in its lineup. Reeperbahn
The Reeperbahn () is a street and entertainment district in Hamburg's St. Pauli district, one of the two centres of Hamburg's nightlife (the other being Sternschanze) and also the city's major red-light district.
