Taylor McLam
Taylor McLam is an American multi-instrumentalist, music composer and record producer. He has composed music for more than 300 advertisements for brands including Verizon, Chrysler, Mitsubishi, Cotton, Visa, Miller Lite, Sears, Lego, McDonald's and Coca-Cola. In the 1990s, McLam was a member of the band Orange 9mm and contributed his song "Failure" to their 1996 album ''Tragic'', which was released on Atlantic Records. With Orange 9mm, McLam played the Warped Tour in 1995, 1996 and 1997 and toured with bands including The Deftones, The Misfits and Kid Rock. After parting ways with Orange 9mm, McLam co-wrote the bonus track "Jungle in the Circus" for the 2008 Gavin Rossdale album, ''Wanderlust'', released on Interscope Records. In 2010, McLam scored the independent film ''Chlorine'', directed by Jay Alaimo and starring Kyra Sedgwick and Vincent D'Onofrio. Multi-instrumentalist
A multi-instrumentalist is a musician who plays two or more musical instruments at a professional level of proficiency. Also known as doubling, the practice allows greater ensemble flexibility and more efficient employment of musicians, where a particular instrument may be employed only briefly or sporadically during a performance. Doubling is not uncommon in orchestra (e.g., flutists who double on piccolo) and jazz (saxophone/flute players); double bass players might also perform on electric bass. In music theatre, a pit orchestra's reed players might be required to perform on multiple instruments. Misfits (band)
The Misfits are an American punk rock band often recognized as the pioneers of the horror punk subgenre, blending punk and other musical influences with horror film themes and imagery. The group was founded in 1977 in Lodi, New Jersey, by vocalist, songwriter and keyboardist Glenn Danzig, and drummer Manny Martínez. Jerry Only joined on bass guitar shortly after. Over the next six years, membership would change frequently with Danzig and Only remaining the two sole consistent members. ''Pinky Dinky Doo'' is an animated children's television series created by Jim Jinkins. It was produced and co-owned by Jinkins' Cartoon Pizza and Sesame Workshop. The series was made in association with Discovery Kids Latin America, and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (season 1). For the second season, Abrams Gentile Entertainment, and the Canadian studio Keyframe Digital Productions joined as production companies.
