Tavita Pritchard
Tavita Pritchard (; born February 20, 1987) is an American professional football coach who is the quarterbacks coach for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Stanford Cardinal, with his 2007 victory over the USC Trojans being cited among the biggest upsets in college football history. He entered coaching as a graduate assistant with Stanford in 2010. After having various assistant roles, he was named offensive coordinator in 2018 and held that position until leaving to join the Commanders in 2023. Playing career Pritchard graduated from Clover Park High School in Lakewood, Washington, where as quarterback of the football team, he threw for 5,323 yards and 55 touchdowns in his high school career. Stanford Cardinal Football
The Stanford Cardinal football program represents Stanford University in college football at the NCAA Division I FBS level and is a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference. The program was previously in the Pac-12 Conference. The team is known as the Cardinal, adopted prior to the 1982 season. Stanford was known as the "Cardinal" for its first two decades of athletic competition, then more commonly as the "Cardinals" until 1930. The name was changed to the "Indians" from 1930 to January 1972, and back to the "Cardinals" from 1972 through 1981. A student vote in December 1975 to change the nickname to " Robber Barons" was not approved by administrators. Stanford has fielded football teams every year since 1892 with a few exceptions. Jack Thompson (American Football)
Jack Byron Thompson (born May 18, 1956), nicknamed "the Throwin' Samoan", is an American Samoan former professional football quarterback. Thompson played in the National Football League (NFL) for six seasons, four with the Cincinnati Bengals and two with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played college football for the Washington State Cougars. He was selected in by the Bengals in the first round of the 1979 NFL draft with the third overall pick. Dan Quinn (American Football)
Daniel Patrick Quinn (born September 11, 1970) is an American professional football coach who is the head coach for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). He came to prominence as the defensive coordinator of the Seattle Seahawks from 2013 to 2014, coaching a defense later known as the Seattle Cover 3 that featured the Legion of Boom secondary. In both years under Quinn, Seattle's defense lead the NFL in total defense and made consecutive Super Bowl appearances, winning the franchise's first in Super Bowl XLVIII. Quinn then served six seasons as the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons from 2015 to 2020, with the team appearing in Super Bowl LI in 2016. Ron Rivera
Ronald Eugene Rivera (born January 7, 1962) is an American football executive and former professional player and coach who is the general manager for the California Golden Bears. He played nine seasons in the National Football League (NFL) as a linebacker for the Chicago Bears and was a member of their 1985 team that won Super Bowl XX. Rivera later served as the head coach of the NFL's Carolina Panthers and Washington Football Team / Commanders, earning two NFL Coach of the Year awards with the former. David Shaw (American Football)
David Lorenzo Shaw (born July 31, 1972) is an American football coach who is currently the passing game coordinator for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL). He served as head coach of the Stanford Cardinal football team from 2011 to 2022. Shaw was the team's offensive coordinator for the entire tenure of his predecessor, head coach Jim Harbaugh, from 2007 to 2010. Previously, Shaw was a four-year letter winner as a wide receiver for the Cardinal from 1991 to 1994, where he was coached by Dennis Green and Bill Walsh.
