Tavistock Cup
The Tavistock Cup was a team golf event played in Florida that featured the top-ranked golf professional members of six international golf clubs: Albany, Isleworth, Lake Nona, Oak Tree National, Primland, and Queenwood. The two-day tournament was an officially sanctioned, unofficial-money PGA Tour event. The inaugural Tavistock Cup matches were held at Lake Nona Golf & Country Club in 2004. Through 2010, the Tavistock Cup was contested by Isleworth and Lake Nona golf clubs. In 2011, the Tavistock Cup was expanded with the addition of teams representing the clubs of Albany and Queenwood, which are located in the Bahamas and Surry, England, respectively. Opened in 2010, Albany was Tavistock Group’s newest golf club community, and Queenwood became the first golf club not developed by Tavistock Group to participate in the Tavistock Cup. Golf is a club-and-ball sport in which players use various clubs to hit balls into a series of holes on a course in as few strokes as possible. Arjun Atwal
Arjun Singh Atwal (born 20 March 1973) is an Indian professional golfer who has played on the Asian Tour and the European Tour and is the first player born in India to become a member of, and later win a tournament on the U.S.-based PGA Tour. Early life Born in a Sikh family to Harminder Singh Atwal (a well known industrialist) of Asansol and Kolkata, West Bengal, India. He attended St. James' School in Kolkata. Thomas Bjørn
Thomas Bjørn (born 18 February 1971) is a professional golfer from Denmark who plays on the European Tour. He is the most successful Danish golfer to have played the game having won fifteen tournaments worldwide on the European Tour. In 1997 he also became the first Dane to qualify for a European Ryder Cup team. He captained the winning European side at the 2018 Ryder Cup. Oliver Wilson
Oliver John Wilson (born 14 September 1980) is an English professional golfer. Wilson was a member of the 2008 Ryder Cup, but had to wait another six years for his first European Tour win, the 2014 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. Amateur career Wilson was born in Mansfield, England, where his golfing career began at Coxmoor Golf Club, having been a junior at Oakmere Park Golf Club. Peter Daniel Hanson (born 4 October 1977) is a Swedish former professional golfer who played on the European Tour and has played on the PGA Tour. Brian Lester Davis (born 2 August 1974) is an English professional golfer. Davis was born in London. He turned professional in 1994 and became a member of the European Tour in 1997.
