''Tausend Zeilen Lüge. Das System Relotius und der deutsche Journalismus'' is a 2019 book by the Spanish journalist . It is about the case of the ''Spiegel'' journalist Claas Relotius, who was revealed by his colleague Moreno to fabricate content for his news stories. Reception Philip Oltermann of ''The Guardian'' called the book "a riveting read" because of the approach Moreno chose, where he, as an immigrant from Spain, portrays himself as an outsider and Relotius as a favoured "high-performance Teuton". Film adaptation The 2022 film ''A Thousand Lines'' is loosely based on ''Tausend Zeilen Lüge''. Rowohlt Verlag is a German publishing house based in Hamburg, with offices in Reinbek and Berlin. It has been part of the Georg von Holtzbrinck Group since 1982. The company has been dissolved and restarted twice since its creation in 1908. History Rowohlt Verlag was founded in 1908 in Leipzig by Ernst Rowohlt and was renamed to Kurt Wolff Verlag in February 1913. After Ernst Rowohlt was banned from the publishing industry in 1938, the company became a subsidiary of Deutsche Verlags-Anstalt, until it was closed in 1943. Deutschlandfunk Kultur (; abbreviated to ''DLF Kultur'' or ''DKultur'') is a culture-oriented radio station and part of Deutschlandradio, a set of three national radio stations in Germany. Initially named ''DeutschlandRadio Berlin'', the station was renamed ''Deutschlandradio Kultur'' on 1 April 2005. The present name was adopted on 1 May 2017. The station's studios are in what was the RIAS building at Hans-Rosenthal-Platz in Schöneberg, Berlin. History Deutschlandfunk Kultur's roots go back to the first Deutschlandsender, set up in 1926.
