Tatyana Akhmetova-Amanzhol
Tatyana Akhmetova-Amanzhol (also Tatyana Bakatyuk, ; born 17 October 1985 in Alma-Ata) is an amateur Kazakh freestyle wrestler, who wrestled in the women's flyweight category. In 2009, Bakatyuk won a gold medal for the 51 kg class at the Asian Wrestling Championships in Pattaya, Thailand, and at the FILA Golden Grand Prix in Baku, Azerbaijan. Bakatyuk represented Kazakhstan at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where she competed for the women's 48 kg class. She defeated Germany's Alexandra Engelhardt and El Salvador's Íngrid Medrano in the preliminary rounds, before losing out the semi-final match to Canada's Carol Huynh, who was able to score five points in two straight periods, leaving Bakatyuk without a single point. Mariya Stadnik (; Mariya Vasylivna Stadnyk; born 3 December 1988) is a retired Ukrainian-born Azerbaijani female wrestler who won four Olympic medals, two World Championship and ten European Championship. Personal life Stadnik was born on 3 December 1988 in Lviv, Ukrainian SSR, Soviet Union. She started wrestling in 2000, graduated from Lviv State University of Physical Culture. She is married to Ukrainian wrestler Andriy Stadnik. The couple have a son, Igor, born in 2010, and a daughter, Mia, born in 2013. Her sister-in-law, Yana Rattigan, competes in the same weight category as Mariya, and has fought with Stadnik three times in international competitions, all won by Stadnik. Carol Huynh (; born 16 November 1980) is a retired Canadian freestyle wrestler. Huynh was the first gold medalist for Canada in women's wrestling and the first gold medallist for the country at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. She is also the 2010 Commonwealth Games and two-time Pan American Games champion. She has also achieved success at the world championships where Huynh has totaled one silver and three bronze medals. Huynh is also an eleven time national champion. Following the 2012 Olympics, Huynh retired from competition and started coaching the University of Calgary Dinos wrestling team. Huynh was elected to the United World Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2013.
