Every year since the 2008 kickboxing tournament called Tatneft Cup is held in Tatneft Arena TatNeft Arena ( ru: Татнефть-Арена) is an indoor sporting arena located in Kazan, Russia. Zhora Akopyan
Zhora Akopyan (born 6 November 1997) is a Belarusian-Armenian kickboxer. He is the former Fair Fight welterweight champion, FEA WGP lightweight champion and the 2019 Tatneft Cup lightweight tournament winner. Kickboxing career Akopyan grew up in Polotsk, Belarus, he practiced Karate as a child. His uncle noticed his love for martial arts and brought him to a Muay Thai and Kickboxing club in his hometown when Zhora was 11. Akopyan won the IFMA gold medal in 2014 after five years of training. The following year he moved to Minsk to join Gridin gym and try to breakout in the professional world. Akopyan was scheduled to face Eduard King at KOK Elimination Tournament on October 6, 2018. Sher Mamazulunov (born May 17, 1995) is an Uzbek kickboxer, currently competing in the middleweight division of Fair Fight. He is ranked as the fourth best middleweight in the world by Combat Press as of September 2022, and fourth best by Beyond Kick as of October 2022. Kickboxing career Mamazulonov fought Fotis Gkionis in the quarterfinals of the 2019 Tatneft 80kg tournament, held on August 24, 2019. He won the fight by an extra round decision. Fabio Kwasi is a Dutch-Surinamese heavyweight kickboxer currently signed to OSS Fighters. He is the 2020 OSS Fighters 05 and the 2016 WLF heavyweight tournaments winner, the Tafneft Cup season 2018 winner, and the 2016 K-1 World GP -95kg tournament runner-up. He was ranked in the heavyweight top ten by Combat Press from November 2016 until September 2018, as well as from July 2021 until February 2022. Turpal Tokaev (born 20 November 1984) is Russian kickboxer and actor of Chechen descent. Also known as Bahadir Sari and Theodore Sariyev, ISKA oriental kickboxing rules heavyweight world champion in 2010. Aleksei Ulianov is a Russian kickboxer who competes in the Glory Featherweight division. He is a two time Tatneft Cup 70kg tournament winner. As of 8 February 2022, Combat Press ranks him as the #7 featherweight kickboxer in the world. Kickboxing career Ulianov made his professional debut against Saksurin Cafefarsai at Nord Desant Fight Fest, with the fight ending in a draw. Timur Aylyarov
Timur Aylyarov (born February 2, 1989) is a Russian kickboxer. He is the 2016 K-1 85 kg World Grand Prix Winner. Kickboxing career Timur took part in the 2015 Tatneft Cup 80kg Tournament. He defeated Giuseppe De Domenico in the 1/8 of the tournament by a second round TKO. He beat Sergej Braun in the quarterfinals and Pavel Turuk in the semifinals by unanimous decision. Igor Bugaenko (born 1981), also known as Ihar Buhaenka, is a Belarusian kickboxer, who has been professionally competing since 2008. He is the former SUPERKOMBAT Cruiserweight Champion, and two-time Tatneft Arena World Cup winner, in 2008 and 2014. He was ranked as a top ten middleweight between March 2015 and July 2021.
