Tatineni Chalapati Rao
Tatineni Chalapathi Rao (22 December 1920 – 22 February 1994) was an Indian music composer who worked in Telugu cinema. His career spanned more than three decades from early 1950s, till 1980s. He was the cousin of T. Prakash Rao. Early life Born to Dronavilli Manikyamma and Rattayya in the village of Vuyyuru in the Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh on 22 December 1920, but he was adopted by Tatineni Koteswara Rao and his wife Kotamma. He was the cousin of T. Prakash Rao. Career His first film as music director was the Telugu film ''Puttillu'' in 1953 jointly with another music director, Mohan Das. His first independent work was for the Tamil film '' Amara Deepam'' (1956). Thereafter until 1984 he scored music for around 125 films mostly in Telugu and some in Tamil. He created many popular songs for films starring Akkineni Nageswara Rao. Through the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s, Chalapathi Rao and Nageswara Rao gave innumerable hits. Tatineni Prakash Rao (24 November 1924 – 1 July 1992) was an Indian film director and screenwriter who worked in Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil films. In a career spanning nearly four decades, he directed over 40 films. He started his career as an assistant director for films like ''Palnati Yuddham'' (1947), ''Shavukaru'' (1950), ''Pathala Bhairavi'' (1951). He debuted as a director with the Telugu film ''Palletooru'' (1952) and later directed ''Pichi Pullayya'' (1953), ''Parivartana'' (1954), ''Jayam Manade'' (1956), ''Charana Daasi'' (1956), ''Illarikam'' (1959) in Telugu. In Hindi, he directed films like '' Sasural'' (1961), ''Suraj'' (1966), '' Izzat'' (1968) and '' Duniya'' (1968). Tatineni Rama Rao
Tatineni Rama Rao (1938 – 20 April 2022) was an Indian filmmaker. He directed 75 Hindi and Telugu feature films between 1966 and 2000. Career Rao started his work in the film industry in the late 1950s as the assistant director of his cousin T. Prakash Rao and Kotayya Pratyagatma, before making his directorial debut with 1966 Telugu film ''Navarathri''.
