Tatiana Molcean
Tatiana Molcean (born 25 September 1982) is a Moldovan diplomat. She has been Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) since 2023. Biography Molcean was born on 25 September 1982 in Chișinău and is from a family of economists. She studied a LLM degree at the Faculty of International Law, Moldova State University. After graduating, she completed the multilateral diplomacy programme at the Geneva Graduate Institute. Molclean served as Chargé d’Affaires at the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova to Sweden from 2008 to 2011. Following this appointment, she served as Deputy Director General for Moldovan Integration in the European Union. In 2017, she was appointed State Secretary and Deputy Minister for Multilateral and Bilateral Cooperation in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration. Moldova State University (USM; Romanian language, Romanian: ''Universitatea de Stat din Moldova'') is a university located in Chișinău, Moldova. It was founded in 1946, and initially had five faculties, Physics and Mathematics, Geology and Pedology, History and Philology, Biology, and Chemistry.
