Tassos Denegris
Tassos Denegris (; 1934–2009), born in Athens in 1934, was one of Greece's best known poets. He published six collections of poetry and translated into Greek work by, among others Borges and Octavio Paz. His own work has been translated into many languages, including French, Hungarian, Portuguese and Spanish. In 1975 Tassos Denegris was a fellow at the international writing program at the University of Iowa and 1993 he was an invited guest at the Cambridge poetry festival. Tassos Isaac
Anastasios "Tassos" Isaac (; 1972 – 11 August 1996), was a Greek Cypriot refugee who participated in a civilian demonstration against the Republic of Turkey's military occupation of the northern part of the Republic of Cyprus. The demonstrators' demand was for the complete withdrawal of Turkish troops from the island, and the return of Cypriot refugees to their homes. Isaac was beaten to death by a mob of Turkish far-right ultranationalists of the Grey Wolves in the United Nations Buffer Zone in Cyprus. Tassos Mantzavinos (Greek: Τάσος Μαντζαβίνος; born March 2, 1958) is a Greek painter who graduated from the Athens School of Fine Arts. His work has been exhibited in many museums and galleries in Greece and abroad and he has also worked on various book illustrations. Life Tassos Mantzavinos was born in Athens on 2 March 1958. His first painting instructors were Manos Sofianos and Mimis Kontos. He studied painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts in 1979 and graduated with distinction in 1984. Anastasios "Tasos" Venetis (; born 24 March 1980) is a Greek former professional footballer who played as a defender. Club career Born in Larissa, Venetis began his career with Apollon Larissa, and transferred to Iraklis at 16. The next season moved to AEL after failing to make an appearance.
