Tarumanegara University
Tarumanagara University (, abbreviated as UNTAR) is a private university in Jakarta, Indonesia and one of the oldest private universities in the country. In 2017 UNTAR received an accreditation A (meaning Excellent) from the Government's National Accreditation Board (BAN-PT). It has 4 campuses, where Campus I (main campus) and Campus II are located in the metropolitan area of West Jakarta, and Campus III in South Jakarta. A future Campus IV of 130 hectares, currently under construction, is in Karawaci, Tangerang, Karawaci (a satellite town some 25 kilometers from West Jakarta), and will become an integrated campus called Tarumanagara City. Currently UNTAR is led by Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, and Vice-Rector Dr. R.M. Gatot P. Soemartono. Tarumanagara University Campus II Building
Tarumanagara or Taruma Kingdom or just Taruma was an early Sundanese Indianised kingdom, located in western Java, whose 5th-century ruler, Purnawarman, produced the earliest known inscriptions in Java, which are estimated to date from around 358 CE. At least seven stone inscriptions connected to this kingdom were discovered in Western Java area, near Bogor and Jakarta. They are Ciaruteun, Kebon Kopi, Jambu, Pasir Awi, and Muara Cianten inscriptions near Bogor; Tugu inscription near Cilincing in North Jakarta; and Cidanghiang inscription in Lebak village, Munjul district, south of Banten. Djan Faridz (born 5 August 1950) is an Indonesian businessman, a former Minister of Public Housing, and owner of PT Dizamatra Powerindo. Biography Faridz was born in Jakarta on 5 August 1950 to Mohammad and Aisha Djan. He attended St. Fransiskus Elementary School from 1957 to 1963, then Kanisius Junior High School from 1963 to 1966 and State Senior High School 2 Jakarta from 1966 to 1969. Erzaldi Rosman Djohan (born 31 October 1969) is an Indonesian politician who has served as the governor of Bangka-Belitung Islands since 2017 to 2022.
