Tariverde
Cogealac is a commune in Constanța County, Northern Dobruja, Romania. The commune includes six villages: * Cogealac (historical names: ''Domnești'', ) * Gura Dobrogei (historical names: ''Câvârgic'', ) * Râmnicu de Jos * Râmnicu de Sus * Tariverde (historical name: ''Dorotea'') The territory of the commune also includes the former village of ''Colelia'' (), at , disestablished by Presidential Decree in 1977. The former village was populated by Dobrujan Germans until 1942 and it is now the site of the Colilia Monastery. The Fântânele-Cogealac Wind Farm (with an installed nameplate capacity of 600 MW) is partly located on the territory of the commune. On 2 March 2022, while searching for a crashed MiG-21 LanceR in the area, an IAR 330 military transport helicopter crashed near Gura Dobrogei, killing 7 military personnel. Stoica Lascu (born 18 June 1951) is a Romanian historian. He has authored over a dozen books and over 250 studies and articles in journals and volumes from Romania and abroad. An Aromanian from Dobruja, he specializes in the history of Romania, of his native region and of the Aromanians, as well as in various other topics. Lascu is a history professor at the Ovidius University of Constanța, in which he has held several important positions. He has participated in the editing of various journals and has written publications in numerous Romanian magazines and newspapers. He is also affiliated with a wide variety of academic and cultural associations, being the founder and president of two of them. Lascu is a recognized scholar and has received several awards for his works. The IAR 330 is a licensed production, licence-built version of the Aérospatiale SA 330 Puma helicopter, manufactured by the Romanian aerospace manufacturer Industria Aeronautică Română. The IAR 330 was produced under a licensing agreement with the French aerospace firm Aérospatiale, signed on 30 July 1974.
