Tapassu
''Tapassu'' () is a 1995 Indian Telugu-language romantic drama film written, directed, and co-produced by Bharath Parepalli, who also played the lead role alongside Krishna Bharati. The film features music composed by Raj–Koti. The film received acclaim for its music. The song "Talukumannadi Kulukula Tara," with lyrics by Vennelakanti and sung by Mano, remains popular decades after its release. Bharath Parepalli won the Nandi Award for Best Screenplay Writer for his work on the film. Raj–Koti
Thotakura Somaraju ( – 21 May 2023) and Saluri Koteswara Rao, popularly known as Raj–Koti, were a duo of Indian film music composers, singer-songwriters, record producers, musicians and multi-instrumentalist in Telugu cinema. In a notable career spanning a decade, the duo has garnered particular acclaim for redefining contemporary Telugu film music. They composed music for about 180 films. Out of their 3,000 songs, about 2,500 songs were sung by singers S. P. Balasubrahmanyam and K. S. Chithra. The Raj–Koti duo was among the many prominent South Indian composers for whom A. R. Rahman has worked as a keyboard programmer for 8 years. In a television interview aired on ABN Andhrajyothy, the duo announced that they were teaming up again in 2012 and reinstating the Raj–Koti brand. Vennelakanti Rajeswara Prasad
Vennelakanti Rajeswara Prasad (30 November 1957 – 5 January 2021), known mononymously by his surname Vennelakanti, was an Indian lyricist and writer known for his work in Telugu cinema. He wrote over 2000 film songs, and was awarded Andhra Pradesh State Nandi Award for Best Lyricist in 2000. Career Vennelakanti was inclined towards Harikathas, and began writing from a young age. Initially, he worked as a banker and wrote his first film song for Krishnam Raju-starrer ''Sriramachandrudu.'' He was also known for his works as dubbing script writer and contributing lyrics for Tamil films, dubbed into Telugu language. Mano (singer)
Nagoor Shaheb, known by his stage name Mano, is an Indian playback singer, voice-over artist, actor, and composer. Mano has recorded more than 35,000 songs for film and private various Telugu language, Telugu, Tamil language, Tamil, Bengali language, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, Tulu language, Tulu, Konkani language, Konkani and Assamese language, Assamese films. He has also performed for over 3000 live concerts across the continents. He has recorded many songs for music director Ilaiyaraaja.
