Tanzim Hasan Sakib
Tanzim Hasan Sakib (born 20 October 2002) is a Bangladeshi cricketer. He made his List A debut for Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan in the 2018–19 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League on 27 March 2019. In December 2019, he was named in Bangladesh's squad for the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. He made his first-class debut on 29 March 2021, for Sylhet Division in the 2020–21 National Cricket League. He made his Twenty20 debut on 5 June 2021, for Abahani Limited in the 2021 Dhaka Premier Division Twenty20 Cricket League. Twenty20 (T20) is a shortened game format of cricket. The 2022 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup was an international limited-overs cricket tournament that was held in the West Indies in January and February 2022 with sixteen teams taking part. It was the fourteenth edition of the Under-19 Cricket World Cup, and the first that was held in the West Indies. Bangladesh were the defending champions. The 2021 Dhaka Premier Division Twenty20 Cricket League was the second edition of the Dhaka Premier Division Twenty20 Cricket League, a Twenty20 cricket competition that was held in Bangladesh. The tournament replaced the 2019–20 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League, which was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and featured the same twelve teams playing in the Twenty20 format instead of the List A format. Originally, the tournament was scheduled to start on 6 May 2021. However, in April 2021, the tournament was postponed until 31 May 2021, due to the nationwide lockdown. Abahani Limited cricket team has played List A cricket in the Dhaka Premier League since 2013–14. It has won the title in 2015–16, 2017–18 and 2018–19. In Twenty20 cricket, it also won the 2021 Dhaka Premier Division Twenty20 Cricket League. 2020–21 National Cricket League
The 2020–21 National Cricket League is the twenty-second edition of the National Cricket League (NCL), a first-class cricket competition that is being held in Bangladesh. The tournament started on 22 March 2021, with the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) using the tournament as preparation for Bangladesh's tour of Sri Lanka in April 2021. The eight teams taking part were placed into two tiers, with the tournament scheduled to end on 29 April 2021. Khulna Division are the defending champions. The opening round of matches saw Chittagong Division win only their third first-class match in a period of seven years, beating Rajshahi Division by 88 runs. First-class Cricket
First-class cricket, along with List A cricket and Twenty20 cricket, is one of the highest-standard forms of cricket. A first-class match is one of three or more days' scheduled duration between two sides of eleven players each and is officially adjudged to be worthy of the status by virtue of the standard of the competing teams. Matches must allow for the teams to play two innings each, although in practice a team might play only one innings or none at all. The etymology of "first-class cricket" is unknown, but it was used loosely before it acquired official status in 1895, following a meeting of leading English clubs.
