Tanya Boyd
Tanya Boyd is an American actress who is best known for her role as Celeste Perrault on ''Days of Our Lives''. Boyd's passion for acting led her to New York City and after several years of studying, she moved to Los Angeles, to pursue her dreams. Her early acting career included roles in the hit TV miniseries ''Roots'' (1977), and blaxploitation films such as ''Black Shampoo'' (1976) and ''Black Heat'' (1976). Boyd performed by traveling the world as a back-up vocalist with such well-known artists as Anita Baker, Lou Rawls, Bobby Lyle and Natalie Cole. In 1979, she became a member of the vocal group The 5th Dimension, replacing Pat Bass. Boyd's passion was acting, and she soon realized how much she missed it, so she returned to Los Angeles to continue her acting career. Since then, she has acted in various theatre productions, and has directed festival productions and comedies. She would like to become a film director someday. Bobby Lyle
Robert Lyle (born March 11, 1944) is an American jazz pianist/organist and educator. Early life Lyle was born in Memphis, Tennessee, on March 11, 1944, to parents Robert and Elise Lyle. He grew up in a musical household after the family moved from Memphis to Minneapolis when Lyle was age 1. He showed an early aptitude for music with his mother, a church organist, being his first piano teacher when he was aged just six years old. By junior high school he was playing clarinet and flute in the band as well as continuing piano lessons. He had already started playing jazz by ear, and by the time he attended Central High School in Minneapolis, Minnesota he came to the attention of drummer Harry Dillon who hired him to play in his trio at a private club in St. Paul, Minnesota. ''Wholly Moses!'' is a 1980 American Biblical spoof film written by Guy Thomas and directed by Gary Weis. ''Murder Can Hurt You'' (stylized onscreen as ''Murder Can Hurt You!'') is a 1980 American made-for-television comedy film that parodies detective and police TV shows of the 1960s and 1970s, much as ''Murder by Death'' spoofed literary detectives. The film was directed by Roger Duchowny. Plot A mysterious "Man in White" is out to kill famous detectives in bizarre ways, and the heroes are obvious parodies of ''Kojak'', ''Baretta'', ''Starsky and Hutch'', '' Ironside'', '' Police Woman'', ''Columbo'', '' Mrs. Columbo'', and '' McCloud''. The movie starts with the Man In White killing Lambretta, after which Lt. Nojack calls a meeting of all the best detectives in the city.
