Tania Díaz
Tania Valentina Díaz González (born 18 June 1963) is a Venezuelan journalist and politician. She was deputy of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) representing the Capital District and Minister of Communication and Information of Venezuela in 2010, as well as deputy and second vice-president of the National Assembly until 2016. Diaz served as the last first vice president of the 2017 National Constituent Assembly (ANC). Biography Tania Díaz was editor-in-chief of the Venpress news agency, host of opinion spaces on Radio Nacional de Venezuela, a journalist for the newspaper El Correo, and in 2012 for the state television channel Venezolana de Televisión. 2017 Constituent Assembly Of Venezuela
The Constituent National Assembly (; ANC) was a constituent assembly elected in 2017 to draft a new constitution for Venezuela. Its members were elected in a special 2017 election that was condemned by over forty mostly Latin American and Western states. The Democratic Unity Roundtable—the opposition to the incumbent ruling party—also boycotted the election claiming that the Constituent Assembly was "a trick to keep he incumbent ruling partyin power." Since the opposition did not participate in the election, the incumbent Great Patriotic Pole, dominated by the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, won almost all seats in the assembly by default. Cilia Adela Flores de Maduro (born 15 October 1956) is a Venezuelan lawyer and politician. She is married to the President of Venezuela Nicolás Maduro, making her the First Lady. Since 2015, she has also been a deputy in the National Assembly of Venezuela, of which she was president from 2006 to 2011, for her home state of Cojedes.
