Club Jaiba Brava, formerly known as Tampico Madero, is a Mexican professional football club based in Tampico and Ciudad Madero, Tamaulipas, that plays in Liga de Expansión MX, the second level division of Mexican football. The club was founded in 1982 as Deportivo Social Tampico Madero. The club changed its name to TM Fútbol Club in 2016, then again to Club Deportivo y Social Tampico Madero in 2022, and finally changed to its current name in 2024. History The club was founded on September 5, 1982 when the city of Tampicomdecided to buy out a struggling club made up from players from the Atletas Campesinos and some from the precursor club, C.D. The Estadio Tamaulipas is a football stadium in the southern portion of the Mexican state of Tamaulipas, serving as the home of C.D.S. Tampico Madero It sits across two municipalities, Tampico and Ciudad Madero, and has a capacity of 19,667. The center line of the stadium sits on the municipal boundary. Javier San Román Celorio (born January 27, 1987) is a Mexican football manager, executive and former player. He is the brother of the former football player and executive Santiago San Román. Celaya (; Otomi: ) is a city and its surrounding municipality in the state of Guanajuato, Mexico, located in the southeast quadrant of the state. The 2010–11 Liga Premier de Ascenso season was split in two tournaments Independencia and Revolución. Liga Premier was the third-tier football league of Mexico. The Serie A has 38 teams (5 Liga de Expansión MX Reserve Teams and 33 Serie A Teams) divided into three groups. For the 2024–25 season, it will be a return of a short tournament format (Apertura & Clausura) consisting of 11 group matches and 3 inter-group matches (14 total) played home & away and the liguilla. La Piedad is a municipality located at in the north-west of the Mexican state of Michoacán, bordering Jalisco and Guanajuato and being the northernmost municipality in Michoacán. Ascenso MX, also known as Ascenso BBVA MX for sponsorship reasons, was a professional association football league in Mexico and the second level of the Mexican football league system. Formerly known as Primera División A de México (1994–2009) and also as Liga de Ascenso (2009–2012). The champions of the competition was promoted to Liga MX (top level), and the bottom team was relegated to Liga Premier (third level).
