Talianki (archaeological Site)
Talianki or Talianky () is an archaeological site near the village of the same name in Cherkasy Oblast, Ukraine. It was the location of a large Cucuteni-Trypillian settlement dating to around 3850–3700 BC, currently the largest known settlement in Neolithic Europe. The settlement, built on a bluff between the Talianka River and a smaller stream, was made up of ovular, concentric rows of interconnected buildings. Built on top of the older Cucuteni-Trypillian settlement are the remains of some Yamnaya culture tumuli (burial mounds) dating to the middle of the 3rd millennium BC, as well as some graves from the late Bronze Age. Talianki was discovered in an infrared aerial photography survey carried out in the 1970s by a Ukrainian pilot in his spare time. Excavations at the site began in 1981, directed by Vladimir Kruts. Nebelivka (archaeological Site)
Nebelivka () is a village in Holovanivsk Raion, Kirovohrad Oblast, Ukraine. It belongs to Pidvysoke rural hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. , it had a population of 713. A major archaeological site of the Neolithic Trypillia culture is located in the village. Dating to around 4,000 BCE, It was one of the largest settlements of the culture, covering an area of 260–300 hectares and home to up to 17,000 people. Dobrovody () is a village located within the Uman Raion (district) of the Cherkasy Oblast (province), Ukraine. Maidanets
Maidanetske () is a village located within the Zvenyhorodka Raion (district) of the Cherkasy Oblast (province), about driving distance south of Kyiv. It belongs to Talne urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. It is a small farming community located primarily on a hill overlooking the Tal'ianki River. Maidanetske is home to one of the three district hospitals in the Talne Raion. A local museum was built in the 1990s that focuses on the ancient history of this place, including a panoramic reconstructed model of a large Cucuteni-Trypillian settlement located here in prehistoric times, as well as some of the artifacts uncovered from around the village. Talianky (, also spelled ''Tallianki'', ''Tal'anky'', ''Tal'ianky'' or ''Tal'ianki'') is a village in Cherkasy Oblast, Ukraine, close to the city of Talne and about south of Kyiv. It is in Talne urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. It is a small farming community located among large open fields that cover the plateau above the nearby Talianky River that winds its way through this area in a narrow riverine valley. Until 18 July 2020, Talianky belonged to Talne Raion. Infrared Photography
In infrared photography, the photographic film or image sensor used is sensitive to infrared light. The part of the spectrum used is referred to as near-infrared to distinguish it from far-infrared, which is the domain of thermal imaging. Wavelengths used for photography range from about 700 nm to about 900 nm.
