Talia Fowler
Talia Fowler is an Australian dancer who won the 2009 season of ''So You Think You Can Dance Australia (season 2), So You Think You Can Dance Australia''. Born in Brisbane, Queensland, Fowler started ballet and jazz dance at the age of three. After entering the Queensland Ballet, she stayed there for three years, being the youngest student ever to have been there. Fowler left the company to enter SYTYCD to go after other styles. There, she beat favourite Charlie Bartley, Dubbo, to become the first female contestant to win ''So You Think You Can Dance Australia'' first place. After So You Think You Can Dance, she participated in the So You Think You Can Dance (season 5), fifth season of the US version, she toured in the Australian production of ''Fame the musical'' alongside her past contestants Timomatic and Amy Campbell. So You Think You Can Dance Australia (season 2)
Season two of ''So You Think You Can Dance Australia'', the Australian version of the American reality dance-off series ''So You Think You Can Dance'', was hosted by former Rogue Traders vocalist and solo artist Natalie Bassingthwaighte, with Jason Coleman, Matt Lee and Bonnie Lythgoe acting as the judges. It premiered on 1 February 2009. Talia Fowler was announced as the winner on 26 April 2009. Auditions Auditions for the second season were held between September and November 2008 in Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney. Judges hope that season 2 will see more contestants auditioning after the favourable response to the first season of the show. Sydney Round Nigel Lythgoe will make an appearance in this season as a guest judge. He only appeared in the Top 100 week of the auditions. Queensland Ballet, founded in 1960 by Charles Lisner, is the premier ballet company of Queensland, Australia, and is based in Brisbane. ''So You Think You Can Dance'' is a United States television reality program and dance competition airing on the Fox Broadcasting Company network. Season five premiered on May 21, 2009, with Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy returning as permanent judges and Cat Deeley returning to host. Jeanine Mason was crowned America's Favorite Dancer on August 6, 2009, making her the second female to win the show. Timothy Ugbedo Omaji (born 9 September 1987), better known by his stage name Timomatic, is a Nigerian-born Australian singer-songwriter and dancer. Omaji rose to fame as a contestant on ''So You Think You Can Dance'' (Australia) in 2009 and placed seventh in the competition. In 2011, he appeared as a contestant on the fifth season of '' Australia's Got Talent'' and was placed third. This led to his most recent rise in fame by sparking the now infamous Facebook page "Timomatic was robbed on Australia's Got Talent", a Facebook page dedicated to the victimisation that Tim was forced to undergo on 'Australia's Got Talent'.
