Taking Back Sunday is an American Rock music, rock band from Amityville, New York, Amityville, New York, formed by guitarist Eddie Reyes and bassist Jesse Lacey in late 1999. The band's current members are Adam Lazzara (lead vocals), John Nolan (musician), John Nolan (lead guitar, keyboards, vocals) and Shaun Cooper (musician), Shaun Cooper (bass guitar), accompanied by Nathan Cogan (guitar) for their live performances. The band's former members include Lacey, Reyes, drummer Mark O'Connell, bassist Matthew Rubano, and guitarist-vocalists Fred Mascherino and Matthew Fazzi. Lacey quit Taking Back Sunday in 1999 and in 2000 formed the rock band Brand New (band), Brand New, with whom Taking Back Sunday would become embroiled in a highly publicized feud. Rock Am Ring
The (German language, German for "Rock at the Ring") and ("Rock in the Park") festivals are two simultaneous rock music festivals held annually in Germany. While ''Rock am Ring'' takes place at the Nürburgring race track, ''Rock im Park'' takes place at the Zeppelinfeld in Nuremberg. Rock am Ring festival was founded by in 1985. The two festivals are usually regarded as one event sharing nearly identical lineups. All artists perform one day at the Nürburgring and another day in Nuremberg during the three-day event. The Ford Windstar (later the Ford Freestar and Mercury Monterey) is a minivan that was produced and sold by Ford Motor Company, Ford. The replacement for the Ford Aerostar, the Windstar adopted the front-wheel drive configuration of the Chrysler minivans. ''Your Favorite Weapon'' is the debut studio album by American rock band Brand New, released in 2001. Recorded and released a year after the band's formation, the album consists of pop punk songs about the highs and lows of teenage life. ''Your Favorite Weapon'' received positive reviews from critics and sold over 315,000 copies. Background Vocalist/guitarist Jesse Lacey, bassist Garrett Tierney and drummer Brian Lane played in a band called The Rookie Lot with Brandon Reilly before the band eventually broke up. The Movielife is a Long Island punk rock band composed of vocalist Vinnie Caruana, guitarist Brandon Reilly, and drummer Brett Romnes. The band originally formed in 1997 and disbanded in 2003, but announced their official reunion in December 2014. ''Where You Want to Be'' is the second studio album by American rock band Taking Back Sunday. While touring to promote '' Tell All Your Friends'' (2002), guitarist John Nolan and bassist Shaun Cooper left the group and were replaced by Fred Mascherino and Matt Rubano, respectively. After a co-headlining tour with Saves the Day in fall 2003, the band began working on ''Where You Want to Be''. Dismissive of several early songs, they wanted to "grow musically with this ew album" In March 2004 recording of ''Where You Want to Be'' began, with Lou Giordano as producer. The band recorded at Mission Sound in Brooklyn, New York for two weeks before moving to Water Music in Hoboken, New Jersey, finishing recording by April. ''Louder Now'' is the third studio album by American rock band Taking Back Sunday. In April 2005, the group had begun writing material for the album. Two months later, they signed with Warner Bros. Records and contributed a song to the ''Fantastic Four'' soundtrack. Soon afterwards, the group rented a room in Manhattan where they composed songs for ''Louder Now''. They came up with 20 songs, discarding half of them and recording demos of the remainder. The group began recording ''Louder Now'' with Eric Valentine in September 2005 at Barefoot Studios in Los Angeles, California. After Warner Bros. told them they did not need to rush, they recorded new demos. Taking Back Sunday released a five-song Demo (music), demo in early 2001, after which they toured the United States for most of the year.
