Alice Nellis
Alice Nellis (born 3 January 1971 in České Budějovice) is a Czech Filmmaking, filmmaker. Nellis first worked as a Western concert flute, flautist before studying English literature and American literature. In 1996–2001 she studied Screenwriting, scriptwriting and dramaturgy at Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, FAMU. She worked temporarily as a web designer for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Czech Republic), Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as a teacher, actress, translator and was filming short films and TV documentaries. Her first feature film (directed and scripted) ''Eeny meeny'' (2000) won the screenplay award of the FAMU Festival. Her 2002 film ''Some Secrets'' won the Czech Lion Award for Best Screenplay and the critics award. Iva Bittová
Iva Bittová (born 22 July 1958) is a Czech avant-garde violinist, singer, and composer. She began her career as an actor in the mid-1970s, appearing in several Czech feature films, but switched to playing violin and singing in the early 1980s. She started recording in 1986 and by 1990 her unique vocal and instrumental technique gained her international recognition. Since then, she has performed regularly throughout Europe, the United States and Japan, and has released over eight solo albums. In addition to her musical career, Bittová has continued acting and still occasionally appears in feature films. In 2003 she played the part of Zena in ''Želary'', a film nominated for Best Foreign Language Film at the 2004 Academy Awards. Martha Issová (also known as Martha Issa; born 22 March 1981) is a Czech film, television and stage actress. Biography Issová was born in Prague, into a family with Syrians, Syrian roots. She is the daughter of actress Lenka Termerová and director Moris Issa. Her cousin is Klára Issová. She studied at the State Conservatory in Prague.
