Taimuraz Tigiyev
Taimuraz Tigiyev (born 15 January 1982 in Vladikavkaz) is a Russian-Kazakhstani wrestler from Moscow of Ossetian origin. He initially won a silver medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics. In 2016, he was stripped of his Olympic medal after a retest of his doping sample tested positive for steroids. Vladikavkaz (russian: Владикавка́з, , os, Дзæуджыхъæу, translit=Dzæwdžyqæw, ;), formerly known as Ordzhonikidze () and Dzaudzhikau (), is the capital city of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, Russia. It is located in the southeast of the republic at the foothills of the Caucasus Mountains, situated on the Terek River. The city's population was 311,693 as of the 2010 Census.
